The DailyMail claims that remains were found in Madoc but I think this is a mistiake.

The Daily Fail is an absolute rag, they always mess up details.

It is 100% true. They usually have the most salacious details that most papers won't publish, though, so sometimes it's the only way to get to them.

(Not saying their detail about Madoc was necessarily correct, though.)

I think it's because the Daily Fail scrapes its "reporting" from multiple other websites and news sources, rewriting and adding unconfirmed details along the way. It's a sensational tabloid, like the NY Daily News, imo. The ultimate click-bait.

I bet lots of money helps, too. Which is really unethical, as far as journalistic standards are concerned. Too much incentive to lie.

This is what bothers me. Although, I understand reporting on his behaviour and personality, as it's an important narrative to establish how unassuming his acquaintances were. I understand why his clients and neighbors are making those statements.

Definitely use his mugshot though.

It just occurred to me, I don't think mugshots are usually released in Canada. Dellen Millard's were only released during the Bosma trial because they show the tattoo a witness described. In all the other cases I can think of, the media have to use whatever they can get. But I hope they can settle on one of the ones where he looks serious and not 'having fun'.

There is much debate regarding the actual existance of "Snuff Films". The general consensus is, they are all fake.
One reason is, you would need a very secret select group that would pay for this, or you would be caught. The possibility of making a film that the killer keeps only for himself, is possible. Stills are a different matter, as we've seen on the internet. And then my thoughts raced to the use of you tube?? OMG........Or a live streaming service??? YIKES
My thoughts went along the lines of "how did he afford living expenses if he was an occasional landscaper in the summer months? How was his income supplemented? And then the gruesome slips in... what if he filled plant pots and set them up at Nathan Phillips square, or a town park or??? No one would be the wiser seeing someone beautify the area?? They'd think it was a city worker................... So in fact, these unfortunate men could literally be spread across the city.
I wonder if the info from the girl cashier at Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens was valuable?

I think it should be labelled a 'published rumour' since it's not confirmed by LE. We just saw the fallout from published rumours in the Sherman case.

He got rid of the van in September, I wonder if he'd been questioned by police?
