From the timeline my guess is about 3-4 men a year he may have killed. My guess would then be probably closer to 5-6 a year he did, for how long? Ten years? Twenty years?

No death penalty.

I know what you mean , sick, psycho, but before his facebook page was taken down you could see he had a fair number of facebook friends for a guy his age, who commented on his quite normal posts about vacations in Mexican resorts and baked goods, he had a big birthday party, did the ALS bucket challenge, sometimes had a younger, attractive boyfriend, worked as a mall santa. The couple who owned the nice home trusted him completely. He doesn't appear to have had a bad reputation in the village. So he kept it very well concealed.

Police have not indicated the exact nature of the evidence that led to the charges. However, a source tells CTV News that photographs of the alleged victims were also found at McArthur’s residence.

McArthur was charged on Jan. 18 in connection with the deaths of Andrew Kinsman, 49, and Selim Esen, 44, who went missing last summer from Toronto’s gay village. Their bodies have not been found.

Idsinga said the murders do not all fit a clear pattern, as not all of them are Middle Eastern or members of Toronto’s gay community.

“It certainly encompasses more than the gay community – it encompasses the city of Toronto,” he said.

Incredible that he was able to fly under the radar all these years.

Someone mentioned earlier on, in another thread that he reminded them of John Wayne Gacy. He might not be far off of that feeling.

TPS is really going to have to have some kind of internal/external review of their practises when it comes to missing persons. My God, they have dropped the ball in a HUGE way this time. And, it's not as if it hasn't happened previously.

The thing I hate about all of this now is that it's all going to be about BM, and as the victims pile up, they will just become a number. This is heartbreaking on so many levels.

How could this have been going on under everyone's noses? I am stupefied.

And finally, I cannot shake the feeling that I know this guy from somewhere or somehow. I can't put my finger on it but he looks so familiar to me.

A very typical looking man of that age ... some young kids grandpa, typical of anyone we might expect to see pushing a cart through a grocery store, or in a hospital, or helping someone change a flat tire.
I think that is what resonates with people in this case... he could be just any older guy who lives up anyone's street... a true Jeckyll and Hyde.

Mr. Liddle said he has lived in the neighbourhood for about 25 years. He would often see Mr. McArthur at the residence doing minor landscaping work.

"He cut the grass. He blew the leaves. I don't particularly recall seeing him do any serious gardening" at the house, Mr. Liddle said. "On occasion he would be there briefly at dusk. I never saw the vehicle there overnight."

Mr. Liddle said that though Mr. McArthur helped take care of the property, he did not live there. He did, however, use the garage quite often.

"He left things in the garage, and then he'd be back and he'd be taking things out of the garage. Everything from plastic black flats of flowers to planters more sizeable containers. It's the same as the back of the house, coming and going, coming and going," Mr. Liddle said.

This had been going on for at least the last five or six years Mr. Liddle said, adding that Mr. McArthur often had a younger man with him who appeared to be some kind of apprentice or helper, though Mr. Liddle didn't know his name.

"You don't expect something like this to turn up in your neighbourhood. You don't expect it to happen anywhere in the city," he said. "But on sober second thought, it makes perfect sense. It's an isolated location, it's a very quiet neighbourhood."

Seeing as he was living in Oshawa, when married with kids, I think his area was most of Ontario. Rural areas and cottage country as well.

- BM graduated high school 1970 in Fenelon falls
- BM Gets married and has 2 children at some point after that and family moved to/lived in Oshawa
- Divorced sometime between 1998 - 2001(?)
- He and wife declared bankruptcy sometime between 1998 - 2001, don’t know if it was before, during or after divorce
- 2001 Arrested for assaulting someone in Toronto
- Convicted of assault April 2003, 2 yr suspended sentence, plus 3 years probation. Restraining order to stay out of the village AND away from an address that could be linked to Majeed
- Dated Skanda, who disappeared Labour Day September 2010 last seen in the Village
- Faizi disappears December 29th 2010 last seen in the Village
- Majeed Kayhan reported missing 14 October 2012, no exact last seen, or where info
- Saroush Mahmudi reported missing August 2015, Scarborough
- Dean Lisowick, never reported missing, death estimated between May 2016 - July 2017
- Salem Esen disappears around April 14th 2017
- Andrew Kinsman disappears 26 June 2017
- At some point Andrew & BM were in a relationship
- BM was in a longish (?) term relationship, or an “on/off” relationship an unidentified man (by MSM/LE) up until his arrest (?)
- Police start following/investigating BM September 2017
- Police get a hold of BM’s van October 2017 in Courtice
- Arrested 17th January 2018

Oi, that's across from where I work. I didn't know that was an area for gay hook ups. They have festivals all the time there, would be hard to find any evidence now.

There may be victims in the Belleville area. Anyone hooking up with this SOB at Zwick's or anywhere else, needs to call in, they might have information to further the investigation.

There has been a sub-culture at Zwicks Park and the waterfront trails for at least 30 years.

JMO
