The father dropped CB off at his ex’s (CB’s mom) condo on Saturday morning.
The SQ has said that through their “investigative” work they can confirm the last sighting of her was 9:40 Sunday morning.

They mother reported CB missing at the BEM store at 3:30 Sunday

The mother is currently being questioned by investigators. They have seized her Ford Escape and are asking anyone who may have seen it yesterday to contact police.

The mother’s long haired brown chihuahua is also missing.

Lasalle and Coteau du Lac are both close to the St. Lawrence River. And both sections of the river have strong currents especially around the hydroelectric dam, canal de Soulanges and the Lachine rapids.

Also the BEM store is located right off of highway 20 which is a main autoroute close to the Ontario border.

The FI Grand Prix was in Montreal this past weekend. Basically a huge mass of money, excess, debauchery, sex trafficking, drugs and partying

None of this sounds good at all
Poor sweetie.
What does the BEM store sell?

I know alarm fatigue is a real thing and you need to draw the line somewhere in regards to Amber Alerts, but this really seems like a situation where quick mass awareness might be really important if she’s alive and lost.

'Meanwhile, the SQ said the mother was driving a grey 2007 Ford Escape with a yellow “Baby on board” sign in English hanging in the rear window and the licence plate K50 FVE.

Police released a video of the vehicle to the public Monday afternoon in the hopes that it might jog people’s memory and help investigators with the timeline of events.'

''Anyone with information on CB’s Sûreté du Québec’s confidential criminal information centre at 1-800-659-4264.''

Is that a motorcycle or a scooter next to the vehicle?

Police confirmed after 2 p.m. that a dog matching the pet of 3-year-old Claire Bell was found dead along Highway 30: searches concentrated in the Vaudreuil-Dorion area
Oh geez so close to a few bodies of water - Lake of Two Mountains, the Canal de Soulange and the St. Lawrence River.
And also the junction of a few major highways - the 30, the 40 and the 20

Hope they have put up a roadblock at the end of Hwy #30 where it meets Ontario.

The Montreal Gazette map shows the location of where the dog was found to be very close to the fireworks shop the mom went into:

Perhaps the police just haven’t released it yet, but it’s interesting that no media reports so far indicate the mom was taken to the hospital, which you’d think would be the case if there was a clear indication of a mental health issue or drugs/alcohol being involved. But the mother saying she doesn’t know/remember what happened makes no sense in the absence of either of those things, imo.

There's a missing discussion group on FB, nothing to report ( not that I can) but I don't see a family member/friend of family as an admin so can't come here.
