From what I can gather, it seems this garden centre announced a 'drive-thru' sale.. 2 plants for $40.. a re-run of an idea that started last year when they had to quickly dispose of a bunch of plants but couldn't be open for business. This year seems different, because it seems garden centres are still allowed to remain open in Ontario, even though we're under 'lockdown', but it still inspired all those people to go for a drive on the Saturday and wait in a car line for 90 minutes to get their Boston Ferns! They're planning on doing it again next year, but say they will get traffic assistance and police to assist. Why? Because of fiddleheads? I’ve googled, but can’t figure it out.
