YES, and it's torn my own family apart.
Literally.
It's a hoax, it was manufactured & released intentionally, masks don't work, masks make you more suspectable to other illnesses, it's been in the US and Canada for longer than what we've been told, the government wants full control of every aspect of your life, there are "re-education camps" being set up, the vaccines carry micro chips that alter your DNA, all deaths are classified as covid related even if they're not, so the government can say "see, look at the numbers go up!" and that bolsters their position, and
if you don't agree with all of that stark raving malarky, then come all the insults, condescending remarks, hurtful accusations, etc., so forth and so on. With no apology. Those that do not agree are part of the problem.
And all of this coming from folks I once greatly admired, who were in fact some of the smartest, critical thinkers I've ever known. It's not covid fatigue because they started latching on to all this garbage very early last spring. Spending ALL their time online (twitter, mostly) just soaking up all the conspiracy theories and spreading them just as much as possible.
I told my kids at the very beginning of this, this crisis is going to bring out the very best in people, and sadly, the very worst. Sure enough, we've all seen both. I try my hardest every day, to let my legacy be on the "very best" side of history. Sadly, yet one more casualty of covid has been my family. We will not come out of this the same way we went into it, and it's heartbreaking. Sorry for the rant, it's just something I have to live with every day. It's been entirely miserable.
And just FYI, I really appreciate everyone's posts here. I read them all every day doing my best to stay informed.
