An Ontario mother says she was angry to learn that someone had stolen medical baby formula meant for her daughter, who has a rare kidney disease, from the family’s front porch.

Rita said there is only one supplier of the formula in Canada, and he is in British Columbia. The supplier, in turn, gets the product shipped from Germany.

François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s minister of foreign affairs, thanked his counterpart in Panama for assistance in arranging special passage through the canal that links the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) said.

“We are aware of 247 Canadian passengers and one Canadian crew member on the MS Zaandam cruise ship,” GAC said. None of the dead were Canadian. “We continue to engage with the passengers and Holland America regarding these ships.”

The Zaandam’s cruise was originally scheduled to end in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, on April 7 before being interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Just to lighten the mood. My spouse works where I used to work years ago. He is in training and development but because its travel insurance he is taking live calls from customers as well as they are so busy.
He is home and we haven’t set his office up. (I’m really busy being laid off doing nothing!)
So I feel every call he is on im back at the company doing QA on his calls.
I’m actually coaching him.
God help us.
One of us is going to snap. Lol. Joking. I hope.
My mission is to convert my sons old room to the office this week.
