''KAMLOOPS, B.C. - A Canadian Armed Forces Snowbird plane has crashed in Kamloops, B.C.

The Kamloops Airport says emergency crews were responding to the crash.

The Snowbirds aerobatics team was scheduled to make a trip from Kamloops to Vernon today as part of Operation Inspiration during the COVID-19 pandemic.''

Operation Inspiration started in Nova Scotia earlier this month and features the team's signature nine-jet formation.

It was aimed at boosting morale as Canadians continue to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic.''

I don't think Ontario is ready. Cases are still going up. I have zero faith in the current leadership.

‘SHOCKED:’ Ford outraged as thousands converge on Toronto park
“I thought it was a rock concert. I was shocked,” Ford said. “It was a beautiful day (Saturday) and people want to get out and have a great time, but the images I saw, we can’t have that right now. It (COVID-19) is still a deadly virus.”

''Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders was also disappointed with the ignorant crowds, saying public drinking was a large part of the problem.

“A lot of complaints were coming in from the residents, people urinating, people defecating on their properties,” Saunders said in a television interview. “When you’ve got an elderly woman opening the door and seeing someone defecating, it is quite bothersome.”

glad this is being revealed to the public (& gov't) - wonder what happens when there's no witnesses?:

Canadian Armed Forces teams deployed to five of the province’s worst-hit long-term care homes to help control COVID-19 have raised concerns about each of the facilities, describing the care as ranging from below best practices to “borderline abusive, if not abusive” and worse, the documents show.

The military can tell it like it is without fear of losing their jobs or being blackballed. PSWs could have told us the same thing for years but then, you know, fired.

Human poop-and-scoop signs surface at Trinity Bellwoods

''Signs asking visitors to Trinity Bellwoods Park to "be a good neighbour" and "pick up after your human" recently surfaced in the park after massive crowds gathered two weekends ago. Neighbours reported public urination on their properties because the park washrooms remained closed.Ira Samuel Cohen / FACEBOOK''

“The City of Toronto has 1,500 parks and while we saw largely and appropriate physical distancing taking place, Trinity Bellwoods was an exception,” he said. “We had 10,000 people in the park and it led to significant concerns, obviously COVID transmission, but also impact to the surrounding community.”

We must be sure not to 'stigmatize' anyone. Let's make sure that is a priority.

How are people (migrant workers) even getting on planes at this point and into Canada? Are they not tested before they step foot on any such plane?

They're told to self isolate once they arrive, for 14 days.. where is that supposed to happen, and who pays for them to do so, and is it okay to isolate as a group in a bunkhouse, or individually, or... ??

Ramsaroop said COVID-19 testing should be expanded to everyone in the province, not just migrant workers.

“We are concerned that migrant farm workers will be stigmatized by any specific testing,” he said. “It is our understanding that most cases of COVID-19 are a result of community contact.”

I was not impressed with the PM attending the BLM really on Friday. These mass gatherings are a recipe for disaster. His own top medical official had deemed "a public health risk". But the PM is not one to miss a good photo op.
