Diane Tardif, then 15 years old, was found dead on August 24, 1973, around 11:20 a.m., on a logging road in the mile 12 sector, located about 16 km east of Sept-Îles. The girl was lying down, partially naked and showed obvious signs of violence.

Unless he's dead himself, Diane Tardif's killer is still at large. But some are now wondering if new investigative methods could help solve, more than 50 years after the teenager's murder, the oldest unsolved case on the North Shore. Renaud Chicoine McKenzie explains.
