My question is how did he get Eduardo's financial information? I fear something horrible has happened to Eduardo, sadly. This was so premeditated that a verdict of manslaughter doesn't really do justice IMO. Although I understand why the decision was made. IMO Eduardo may have been horrifically treated in order to get his PIN numbers. So sad.I can think of other cases where victims were tortured. I hope that didn't happen in this instance. But possibly. He was looking for a perfect opportunity to commit his robbery. He was circling around the building for so long. I think he played upon trust afterall he had worked there before. That' why perhaps Eduardo at first was at ease and then realized too late what the real intent was. I can't help but think there is something far more sinister than just a robbery here as Eduardo has not been found and I don't think he ever will, sadly, because it was intended to be that way.rbbm.
Accused guilty of manslaughter in missing Winnipeg man’s disappearance | The Star
''WINNIPEG - A jury found a Winnipeg man guilty Wednesday of manslaughter in the presumed death of a husband and father who disappeared nearly four years ago.
Kyle Pietz had pleaded not guilty to a charge of manslaughter in the death of Eduardo Balaquit, who was last seen on June 4, 2018, when he left his home to go to his job as a night cleaner.
Pietz and Balaquit had worked in the same building in the city’s northwest.
Crown prosecutors argued Pietz killed Balaquit in an act of financial desperation.
The jury heard Pietz robbed Balaquit of his bank card and pin numbers and then disposed of his body in a rural area outside the city.
His body has never been found.''
