she wasn't really seeing other guys. i believe she was a very confused young lady, and really had no idea how beautiful she really was because of the turmoil inside of her. and had no idea the effect her beauty had on guys. the term in the eyes of men would be that she was leading guys on, however i truely believe in her heart she had no intentions of this, rather guys took her kindness and beauty to mean she was open to being pursued. jmo of course.

i believe she would let guys get to know her, then if it went to a certain level, like an actual date, she would then state that she had a bf and would have to decline. and i don't believe we are talking about a lot of guys, her diary talks about 3 guys other than RB.
Eric, John and Andre. Andre is the individual that as far as we know has never come forward.

I agree with what you say about her beauty. My ex told me he would stare at her and be blown away by how beautiful she was. So I wonder who was yelling at her? Who did she know that had a Red Jeep? That alone should have been easy enough to pinpoint, IMO. RED JEEP guy, who are you?

Matou, no i did not know her, and the diary details i related to are in finkles book which is now out of print i believe. as for the red jeep incident and the rest of those eyewitness statements, one would have to read the police reports that we dont have access too.
eyewitness reports of what they thought they saw are not as reliable as we think. not that they dont believe what they saw, but it has been proven on how the mind works in those instances, so it is very hard to say which were good sightings and which were false without reading and researching the witness statements in full

what worries me is the validity of the info that LE handed over to the defense as well that which has been made public like these witness sightings of EB with a blond guy in the time leading up to her disappearance. considering the important witness sightings that LE withheld from the defense, are these ones about the blond guy just red herrings.
And it is helpful for the defense to use these sightings later on to help their client claim his innocence by portraying the perp as PB. Each side has there own agenda, however who had EB's agenda as their priority. Neither side. jmo

case in point, look at the car that LE was looking for when kristen french was abducted. ppl witnessed it and the description of the car was no where near PB's car. i agree with you matou, a guy in a red jeep in that area, you would think wouldnt be too hard to track down, if LE really wanted to. So either they did and it turned out it wasnt EB in the truck with him, or they just couldn't be bothered because it was not condusive to their case against RB.

True about the car. That was a real fiasco and I was working at GM at the time when every Camero, cream coloured or not, was being phoned in. The colour was somewhat accurate and red isn't a colour that someone would mess up on, IMO. Unless, it was a recollection from a long time previously. The details of the fake fingers on her passenger side door is a very good detail that would be great at ID'ing her vehicle. I don't think the man on the 401 saw that side of the car. I would think someone mouthing for help up against a window would be shocking enough to be truthful, so I will believe this guy.

the 401 witness was so bothered by the incident he didn't continue on to work. he was heading into work at the time. he went to a bar or pub i believe, the bartender was interviewed and confirmed the man was there. the witness wrote down a description of the car and the license plate at the pub, or when he got home, i forget now. the license plate number was one number off, had 5 out of 6 right on. so LE basically said to him that he got the plate wrong so it was the wrong car. however they did have a 7 page witness report they took from the man. This witness was smart enough to ask for a copy of it before he left the interview, and produced it for RB's private investigator a few years later. it was signed by one of the two lead investigators.

combine this with the morrish rd sighting, and the two independant sightings match perfectly with time, the night, and consistent with actions.

Was her disappearance ever ruled a homicide, despite the lack of body

Is all of the evidence still available for testing, like the car, cigarette pack etc.

Does anyone see any similarities to modern day cases, eg. Sonia Varaschin

her bf was convicted of 2nd degree murder, spent 8yrs in prison till released via the innocence project defense team.
her car was given back to family and ended up in the junk yard i believe.
not sure about the cigarette pack and other things found in the car. they considered the case closed when they convicted the boyfriend, so not sure if they keep evidence around after that.

Sorry if any of these have been asked but a few things weren't followed up on like for instance how far did she live from the school I ask because why would she drive back to school just to look at a schedule wouldn't most people just call in to what ever class the schedule was for ..Makes me wonder if she was meeting someone ,Also the car being found in a body shop but nothing on who brought it to the shop someone had to go in and say I want this and that done to the car there should be records of who ever dropped it off there .

CanMan, she lived prob 5 or so mins by car from the school. She lived on Scarboro Ave, and the school was on military trail i believe, you can google map it to see the distance.
Her mom said she told her she was going to check the tennis schedule, not her school schedule. Apparently those tennis courts in the valley didn't have tennis schedules so it does appear she may have been planning to meet someone.
And her car was seen in the Auto place parked in front of the office, its right off the road, so it was just a place the person who was driving pulled into, to continue whatever it is that was happening. The car wasn't brought in for repairs. This incident occurred after working hours. You can google map 3R Collision and Autobody 31 morrish rd.
the car was found parked across from 3R amongst cars that were for the 3R Auto place, makeshift side of the road parking kind of that doesnt exist anymore.

yes, one of the quandries of this case, and why LE say EB was dead before 7pm by RB. however, it is possible, that the person driving EB's vehicle may not be the same person who caused her disappearance. jmo from all the research ive done, and trying to make sense of it all.

Can you explain this at all? A bit confusing but intriguing. What scenario do you have in mind?

OK just saw your last post r.e. the car eyesonly, thank you. So her car is there since early morning Wednesday, June 20th. Whoever did this, knew her or followed her to her car because of the blood and drag marks going from the outside to the inside of the car. Was the kingston road parking lot checked for blood? Putting her body into her car while it's parked on the side of the road is pretty ballsy and the perp would have needed her keys to move her car to Morrish rd. He didn't put her in the trunk but in the back of the car, why?

I am not much of a proponent of Bern. for this but certainly that brazen quality matches his attacks in Scarb. I mean on lawns beside the girls houses etc. he was very lucky.

on morrish road, just north of kingston road and south of old kingston road across from the 3R Auto body place, there is an open field there, city owned i believe, 3R auto body used to park cars on the edge of the street with the cars facing the 3r auto, and thank you for the welcome,

Am I reading this correctly therefore the fact the car was "backed in" a la Bernardo is irrelevant since all the cars were backed in - all three in the photo Matou linked to are.
