Five women testified the ex-fashion mogul sexually assaulted them inside his former Toronto headquarters. Nygard is still facing charges in Montreal, Winnipeg and New York.
Can't believe my last post here was December 2021! It's a long time coming and the few who have charged him are a fraction of his true victim count.
Ime this man is exactly as they say. He is evil and cruel, sadistic and also and old forgetful little man. He can't even keep track of how many people he victimized. He should be charged with exploitation and trafficking and found guilty. I spit on him!
So happy that this monster has finally been found guilty. He's ruined so many lives. According to his son Kai, who blew the whistle on his own father, Peter Nygard has more accusers than Epstein, Weinstein and Cosby combined.

“For too many years, allegations like the ones made against Mr. Nygard have been swept under the carpet, hushed up, or ignored, leaving the victims feeling that coming forward was a big mistake,” the justice of the peace said.
Peter Nygard, who once led a women's fashion empire, was found guilty of four counts of sexual assault on Sunday but was acquitted of a fifth count, plus a charge of forcible confinement.

ETA: hoping the whole video of sons speech is embedded.
Now we patiently wait for justice in the US and Bahamas. (recognizing that there are still many victims in Canada (particularly Winnipeg and Montreal) that have not even been acknowledged.
Former Canadian fashion mogul Peter Nygard will now be represented by a Winnipeg lawyer on charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement he faces in Montreal.
Defence lawyer Gerri Wiebe told a Quebec court Monday morning she'd gotten permission from the Quebec bar association to represent Nygard in the Montreal case.
"I have communicated to my learned friend, [prosecutor Jérôme] Laflamme, that I will seek the disclosure from previous counsel and review it," said Wiebe, who appeared in court by video.
"And then he and I can have a conversation about the expected trial length, as well as any pretrial motions and the scheduling of when those should occur."
Wiebe is also representing Nygard on similar charges he faces in Winnipeg, and served as his counsel during sentencing in Toronto after he was convicted of sexual assault there last year.
