Now he can be found guilty in Montreal, Winnipeg and New York.

Hope his final jail cell is in the US.

Funny how he doesn’t want his picture taken now!

Can't believe my last post here was December 2021! It's a long time coming and the few who have charged him are a fraction of his true victim count.

Ime this man is exactly as they say. He is evil and cruel, sadistic and also and old forgetful little man. He can't even keep track of how many people he victimized. He should be charged with exploitation and trafficking and found guilty. I spit on him!

So happy that this monster has finally been found guilty. He's ruined so many lives. According to his son Kai, who blew the whistle on his own father, Peter Nygard has more accusers than Epstein, Weinstein and Cosby combined.
[mentioned in the video clip at the link below.]

Peter Nygard found guilty of 4 sexual assault charges, acquitted on 2 other counts

Kai deserves huge kudos for doing the right thing at a significant personal cost.

This clip tells me everything I need to know about what the guilty verdict means for the Canadian victims.

Now we patiently wait for justice in the US and Bahamas. (recognizing that there are still many victims in Canada (particularly Winnipeg and Montreal) that have not even been acknowledged.

Former Canadian fashion mogul Peter Nygard will now be represented by a Winnipeg lawyer on charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement he faces in Montreal.

Defence lawyer Gerri Wiebe told a Quebec court Monday morning she'd gotten permission from the Quebec bar association to represent Nygard in the Montreal case.

"I have communicated to my learned friend, [prosecutor Jérôme] Laflamme, that I will seek the disclosure from previous counsel and review it," said Wiebe, who appeared in court by video.

"And then he and I can have a conversation about the expected trial length, as well as any pretrial motions and the scheduling of when those should occur."

Wiebe is also representing Nygard on similar charges he faces in Winnipeg, and served as his counsel during sentencing in Toronto after he was convicted of sexual assault there last year.

Peter Nygård was born in Finland, but moved to Canada as a child. In 1999 he sued the Finnish violinist Linda Lampenius (internationally known as Linda Brava) for defamation after she had commented that he surrounded himself with "fake actors and nude women", a case that ended when she run out of money, and she had to settle with an apology in a Finnish newspaper.
Nygård had invited Linda to the US, and to be his guest at the Oscars, but instead it was a smaller party at his mansion, and instead of her staying at a hotel, she was staying at his house. Afterwards she commented about the party, and his behaviour, in an article and recommended other Finnish women to stay away from him, and that's why he sued her.
Linda Lampenius had been forced by Nygård to post, and pay for, a whole-page ad in a Finnish newspaper with an aplogy to Nygård for defamation in 2001. She had mentioned in an interview that Nygård had shown her photos from his villa in Bahamas with young nude girls, and she had also said that nobody should send Finnish girls/women there. The ad in the newspaper cost 35 000 Finnish Mark (today somewhere between €6000 to €7500 ($7000 - $8800).

As Peter Nygård was sentenced to 11 years in prison for sexual assault on 9 September 2024 (and Linda Lampenius had been right in her opinion about him), the owners of the newspaper where the ad had been placed, have decided to pay back the money that Linda had been forced to pay for it.

A link to a translation into English, even if it looks to be in Swedish:

The request states that investigators wanted to question Andrew over allegations involving Nygard, including claims of an “an international sex trafficking ring victimizing adult women and minor girls” at the Canadian’s estate in the Bahamas, known as “Nygard Cay.”

According to the document, “the investigation has revealed that, on at least one occasion, Prince Andrew traveled to Nygard Cay in the Bahamas, a location where Nygard is believed to have trafficked minor and adult female victims.”
