The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Criminal Harassment investigation.
On Monday, November 28, 2022, the Toronto Police Service received a call for a Check Address in the Queen Street East and Pape Avenue area.
It is reported that:
  • on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 11:25 a.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking home
  • a man started following the girl to her house
  • the girl entered her house and locked the door behind her
  • the man approached the house, and began ringing the door bell and banging on the door
The man is described at 6'0", medium build, 30 to 40-years-old. The man was last seen wearing large clothing, a grey hooded rain coat with neon green stripes, plack pants and dark shoes.

Poor baby. :( She must have been frightened half to death. Thank God she is okay.

What is wrong with people?! Good for the little girl, she was brave and knew exactly what to do.

Hopefully LE get better quality images of this guy, he's covered head to toe.

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest made in a Criminal Harassment investigation.
It is alleged that:
on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 11:59 a.m., a 43-year-old woman with three young girls were walking home in the Queen Street East and Jones Avenue area
  • a man started to follow them while staring at the young girls
  • the woman entered a nearby school yard to get away from the man
  • the man fled the area when the woman used her cell phone to call a friend
  • It has been further reported that:
on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 8:55 a.m., a woman was walking her dog in the Queen Street East and Caroline Avenue area
  • A man began to follow her closely while staring at her
  • The man fled the area when she spoke to a nearby construction worker
on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 5:36 p.m., a woman was walking her dog in the Queen Street East and Pape Avenue area
  • a man followed the woman into her condo vestibule
  • the woman was able to fob into her building quickly and close the door behind her, stopping the man from entering
  • the man fled the area when the woman used her cell phone to call a friend
Jama Korshel, 34, of Toronto, was arrested on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

He is charged with:

  1. five counts of Criminal Harassment
He attended court on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at College Park Courts, at 9:30 a.m., in room 507.

Glad he's off the streets, for now at least. :rolleyes:

My guess is there are other victims out there and, if so, I hope they contact police to ID him and/or file a report. His creepy behavior is scary and dangerous. MOO
