Circumstances of Disappearance:
Subramanian was last seen in Vancouver, British Columbia on January 9th, 1974. A Fijian national, he had travelled to Canada to sell his construction business in 1973, staying with a friend in Vancouver. His friend last saw him leaving to meet up with someone and has never been seen since. Subramanian was expected to return to Fiji on January 12, 1974 but he never arrived.

The male person of interest who would later be charged with multiple frauds. was questioned regarding Subramanian's disappearance but was evasive and refused to cooperate. He returned to Fiji when he was released from prison. Foul play is suspected in Subramanian's case and his whereabouts remain unknown.
