"Police are searching for a man who forcibly held and beat four young people while threatening them with a machete after they met him in response to a Kijiji ad.

Police said an 18-year-old man, along with three friends, went to meet another man in the Jane Street and Grandravine Drive area about a car for sale on the website Kijiji on Monday, July 14."

"It’s alleged as the suspect was showing them a car, a group of men surrounded the would-be buyers and robbed them at gunpoint.

The victims were beaten with rocks, stripped of their clothes and threatened with a machete and a gun.

They were also forced to call friends and family and ask for a ransom."

"The victims were then allegedly beaten, stripped naked and threatened with a machete and the gun.

Police say the suspects then forced the victims to call friends and family for money to secure their release.

The victims managed to escape about four hour later.

Alhaji Kabba, 18, of Toronto, is wanted for robbery with a firearm, forcible confinement, extortion, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

Kabba is described as black, about six-foot-one, 180 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Kabba should be considered armed and dangerous.
