James Gordon Nevin

Description:
Nevin departed from his residence in Amherstburg, Ontario on June 6, 1979. He was heading west for a two week vacation with intention to visit relatives, but none of his relatives had prior notification that he was planning to visit. He has never been heard from again.
At the time of his disappearance, Nevin was driving a 1974 white and maroon Dodge Coronet. It was later located in a ditch on the border between Rocanville, Saskatchewan and St. Lazare, Manitoba. The RCMP responded to a call regarding the vehicle on June 14, 1979. Investigations revealed it had been at the same location since June 8, 1979, and it is suspected that Nevin likely went missing between 13:30 and 15:00 that same day.
Extensive searches were conducted by land and air but he was never located. Few details are available regarding Nevin's disappearance and foul play has not been ruled out.
