From the photo it appears the van is owned by Devon Transport, LLC. According to Dun & Bradstreet "Devon Transport Ltd is located in Nanaimo, BC, Canada and is part of the Automotive Equipment Rental and Leasing Industry. Devon Transport Ltd has 402 total employees across all of its locations and generates $36.06 million in sales (USD)."

"We are asking the public for assistance in helping us establish the vehicle's movements during this past week," Staff Sgt. Todd Wiebe said in a release. "Please have a look at the van and its licence plate. If you think you saw it or if you have dash-cam or surveillance footage capturing it, please contact police as soon as possible."
...information on the van's travel in Kamloops and surrounding rural areas and communities, including Barriere, Clearwater, Valemount, Savana, Cache Creek and other spots along those corridors.
The white rental van is a 2020 GMC model wth B.C. licence plate PJ 9131.

- ...deceased person inside a vehicle and the death is being treated as suspicious. Police have not said if the person was a man or woman.
- “...waiting on the results of an autopsy to confirm the victim’s identity,” ...
- ...a white GMC van with Budget decals proclaiming, “We buy boxes.”
- Neighbours said they white van and had been parked on the property for a few days, and they hadn't seen it there before, with one claiming it didn't belong to the people who lived in the home.
- Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-8565.
