The silence on the 'Help Us Find Laura' page is deafening. Her friends certainly have some skewed ways of thinking. No wonder her case was ignored, you'd think they would have learned the first time, but nope, still staying silent, and Laura is still missing. I'm stunned.

I think "unfazed" is the reporter's word, not her family's. I can understand that they are trying to remain hopeful that their daughter is OK.

At the end of the article, it says LB had recently started going by "Elle Ryan", as she didn't like the name Babcock.

This is worth repeating 100 times over!! Police should round them all up and have them in for one hard questioning!!

Time to tell the TRUTH about Laura, if you want her found!!!!

IMO: Those so called "friends" are implying Laura is not "worthy" of finding because of her "tendencies" .

Also so call the group "Help Us Find Laura" .... ???? . How can ANYONE "help" when they are withholding some very important info... If they want "help" for real... Not just for attention!!! everything about Laura should be known, what her "tendencies" are ....to the men she seems attracted to or women, to what she likes to eat, her favorite hobbies, her personality.... EVERYTHING!!

I truly hope so. Laura needs to be brought home. This saddens me, and I don't even know her

I'm not sure that's what they were talking about. IMO they were talking about saying things to the media. The media doesnt need to know Laura's "tendencies" or secrets. They are of no value to the media except for gossip and making a good story. Im sure all of her friends have told LE everything. When TM went missing his family released updates through the media, but very calculated releases. No one from his camp was taking interviews with media to talk about his personal tendencies or what he had to eat before he was taken.

And of course, this is all just how I read their posts. JMO.

"Unfazed" was a very poor choice of word on the reporter's end. I had the same "wtf?!" Reaction until I read the article.

It's being suggested on her page that a vigil be held for Laura. I think this is a fantastic idea as it will help bring awareness. I really hope they go through with this. I for one will be in attendance, as I'm sure there are many others here that would support this as well.

If he had access to her mailing address, could have just asked for an itemised bill to be sent, maybe ?

My husband and I have rogers, which I noticed that LB had too. When I have called in the past they refuse to talk to me about our account because the account is in my husbands name. SO IMO he either got the records from rogers if they had a joint account with them OR he got them by opening her mail, logging into her account or someother somewhat questionable(IMO) method.

I see the issue that many are having with SL's involvement and interception of LB's personal accounts. I guess I'm not having those same issues because I have a very close relationship (best friends, really) with an ex of mine I have no doubt that, if I were not married, he would go to the ends of the earth to get information if I ever were to have gone missing like LB. I see his actions being from someone that that very much loves LB and is seriously concerned given her depression and other personal issues before she went missing.

Prior to Laura missing, she was told by the roomate to go to a womans shelter... She also apparenty called DM for help (shelter and drugs)

Also prior to her missing her ex set her up in a hotel room with his iPad...

Did Lauras "tendencies" stand in the way of her moving home?

Did anyone else notice the post on the help find Laura page in which a guy is saying that he talked to her March 2012 about an ex?? He says that she didn't give him a name but now looking back some of the things she told him has been bothering him.

In following the case of Tim Bosma, I noticed something that struck me as very peculiar.... A tweet from @LocateTimBosma on May 12 references "@LauraBabcock". To my knowledge, there was no connection made between TB, DM and LB until May 17. This may be easily explained away, if LB were mentioned in tweets from an associate of DM who has since been noted as "cleared" by LE, but I haven't seen any mention of this in the 8000+ posts that I've read on the TB forum. Sorry, I'm unable to post a link from my tablet to the tweet, but I'll call in my resident IT expert (ie. Teenager in the house) to show me how, if required.
