CANADA Canada - Lindsay Buziak, 24, Victoria, BC, 2 Feb 2008

  • #761
I caught the Red Cold podcast yesterday. Jeff Buziak was on the show. It was very interesting with some intriguing insights. He shed some light on two very important issues that are critical to solving the case.

Jeff related that he is “of the belief” that Lindsay was first stabbed in the back; near the neck, and then dragged into a different room and repeatedly stabbed in the chest and breast area; perhaps more than 40 times. The autopsy and information about her injuries has been withheld and he hasn’t been officially briefed on the full details. This tends to confirm my suspicion that this was not a “hired hit” by some criminal organization but rather a sexually motivated murder. Piquerism is a sexual fetish and a real estate agent showing a vacant house is a perfect set up for a murder.

Jeff also expressed his belief that the “mystery client” gave her the name of the former client who was the “references” who gave Lindsay’s name to the murderer. If it is true that Lindsay did call this former client and found he was away and unavailable, this should have been a critical lead. How many of anyone’s acquaintances know when they are “away and unavailable”. Other information I have seen suggests the “former client” is just a subject of speculation and no specific name has come up. This is very critical information.

Jeff is obsessed with his daughter’s murder, as any parent would be. He is privy to a lot of information and has tossed his ideas and speculation out there. His opinions have changed over the years but he still doesn’t have the answer.

I am hoping to find time to listen to the podcast. I am terrible with YT videos and podcasts, I just don't have the time and attention span will try to get this one in.

I hadn't considered a sexual motive here but I know it happens ie: Idaha 4's killer BK I think was aroused during his killings even though no physical SA happened. This was never proven or stated but I think it was for him.

*Sorry graphic: My father worked in prisons interviewing killers and it's a thing for some where the killing results in climax vs a SA/rape.

I am on the fence here... feels more built up rage, jealousy but don't want ever to be close minded! Especially if the former client is involved or who they associate with or knows those involved. Would love to go down that rabbit hole if we had more info.... curious on that.
