''Officials are hoping the public can help them identify a woman who has been staying at a Hamilton hospital for months.

Police put out the call for assistance after they and hospital officials exhausted their efforts to find out who she is.

The woman was located by police near Highway 5 and Moxley Road in Flamborough on March 25, after police say she had been seen wandering in the area for several hours.''

"The female currently responds to the name Bunny Falcon, but has previously gone by Fern Keys, Brooksy Shields, Rebecca Lockhart, Goldie California and Fern Munro Fawcett," said police.''

''Hamilton police say they’ve had numerous responses from members of the public who recognize a vulnerable woman known for hanging around downtown.

However, the main goal of a public appeal to help identify her, which was released Monday, is to find next of kin, said Const. Krista-Lee Ernst. This has not yet happened.''

''In recent months she frequented downtown Hamilton and occasionally used shelters.''
