Isn't it the law that no information about an ongoing investigation can be released until trial?
From a CTV news article...
Her brother states
Saunders' brother, Edmund, said the public's response to his sisters disappearance is something that should happen every time an aboriginal woman goes missing.

This is what I was hoping would not happen.
This type of response needs to happen every time anyone goes missing! Black, white, aboriginal, male or female, young or old.
Personally I think that the fact that Loretta was aboriginal had very little to do with the way people reacted to her being missing. I know myself I didn't become interested because of it. I became concerned because a young WOMAN from my home province was missing.
That is what mattered to me, not her race or color of her skin , hair or eyes ... But the fact that a young woman seemingly vanished from a city right here. To me the responses now trying to make it about her being a white looking aboriginal cheapen the efforts of those involved.
I truly don't believe that the people of Halifax and NS would have responded or cared any less had she looked like a " typical aboriginal " ( to quote an article I read today) I think we still would have rallied and been concerned and done things just the same.

What interested me about the case is that it's another couple in their twenties that murdered the room mate (sublet landlord) that they had known for only a few weeks. I see similarities between this case and others where a young woman is murdered by a couple where the murdering woman seems to have some abnormal feelings of jealousy and resentment towards the victim.

Not sure about whether they were in the same van. Unless someone brings them a change of clothes, I expect that they'll be wearing the same clothes for each appearance. The coat that Victoria is wearing is provided by investigators and has big letters on the back.
