The motive could be theft in terms of non-payment of rent, car, bank accounts, but it could also be far more sinister. This happened the day before Valentine's Day, and that could have played a part in decisions made by Victoria and Blake. I think police are going to wait for autopsy results before laying charges. Sexual assault and cause of death are unanswered questions at this time. Given the cold weather, hopefully the evidence was preserved and that there was very little physical deterioration of the remains.
Loretta was going to research three missing/deceased women in NS, but I don't see any reason for her to discuss that research paper with the people subletting her apartment. There may be more victims. Given the mobility of the suspects over the last couple of years, there could be victims anywhere from BC to NS.
I'm left to wonder if either of them are on that S&M site like the other Canadian couple who murdered the young woman on New Year's Eve. I can't remember any specific names or websites at the moment.
Where the RCMP were at the apartment for at least two days with the forensic unit(s), I believe that will turn out to be the crime scene and that is why they made the mad dash out of the Province. JMO
VH comes from a military background so I wonder if she knew him either through the military or was a friend from where she lived previously.I know we cant sleuth the guy in Harrow but I am most interested to see how they connected. It was reported he said he knew Victoria. How I wonder? Online? In their/her travels?

I also think it is interesting on the V&B fb pg they only have 2 friends listed I wondering if V&B were mapping out a route of placed they would stay after leaving NS
28-year-old Victoria Henneberry and 25-year-old Blake Leggette, already in custody, will be in court tomorrow to face charges of first degree murder.
Henneberry and Leggette are now scheduled to appear in #Halifax court tomorrow, charged with 1st degree murder in Loretta Saunders' death.
Yesterday afternoon, Loretta’s disappearance was determined to be a homicide. Her remains were located in New Brunswick later that day. Her remains have been transported to the Coroner Services office in St. John, New Brunswick where an autopsy will be conducted in the coming days.
This afternoon, investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit laid charges against 28-year-old Victoria Henneberry and 25-year-old Blake Leggette. They are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow to each face a charge of first degree murder.
Rbbm.
After looking at your excellent map,( thanks! ) it was easy to imagine those two getting up to all manner of sordidness along the route.imo.
Having spent years on different crime boards IMO Canada is climbing the charts with heinous crime. Seemed a day when they were far and few between. It shocks me as to the degree of just how heniose our crimes are getting. Almost a new breed of killers that don't fit the typical profile. IMO.
I do not think that has been on MSM I apologize if I gave that impression. I am basing my assumption on having access to her full fb pgLast I read it was Victoria claiming she had a military background. I certainly could have missed a MSM article tho regarding this.

Early twenties (young adult) couple murderers, and thrill killers, are happening all over the world.
