Where the RCMP were at the apartment for at least two days with the forensic unit(s), I believe that will turn out to be the crime scene and that is why they made the mad dash out of the Province. JMO

The motive could be theft in terms of non-payment of rent, car, bank accounts, but it could also be far more sinister. This happened the day before Valentine's Day, and that could have played a part in decisions made by Victoria and Blake. I think police are going to wait for autopsy results before laying charges. Sexual assault and cause of death are unanswered questions at this time. Given the cold weather, hopefully the evidence was preserved and that there was very little physical deterioration of the remains.

Loretta was going to research three missing/deceased women in NS, but I don't see any reason for her to discuss that research paper with the people subletting her apartment. There may be more victims. Given the mobility of the suspects over the last couple of years, there could be victims anywhere from BC to NS.

I have also had the thought that there could be more victims and that the evidence found at the apartment might lead police to do a wider investigation than only Loretta.

I'm left to wonder if either of them are on that S&M site like the other Canadian couple who murdered the young woman on New Year's Eve. I can't remember any specific names or websites at the moment.

Fetlife. Not a member but was here online when some really good folk dug up the goods on those 2 🤬🤬🤬. That site was a learning curve for me :scared: (Noelle Paquette case)

They spent much time there (LE) so IMO there had to be something there. LE said homicide even before Loretta was found. Even if one of them talked (which I believe happened) I would think LE would have concrete proof of a homicide before announcing it. I cant see them just going on what one of them may have said.

I know we cant sleuth the guy in Harrow but I am most interested to see how they connected. It was reported he said he knew Victoria. How I wonder? Online? In their/her travels?

VH comes from a military background so I wonder if she knew him either through the military or was a friend from where she lived previously.

I also think it is interesting on the V&B fb pg they only have 2 friends listed I wondering if V&B were mapping out a route of placed they would stay after leaving NS

Having spent years on different crime boards IMO Canada is climbing the charts with heinous crime. Seemed a day when they were far and few between. It shocks me as to the degree of just how heniose our crimes are getting. Almost a new breed of killers that don't fit the typical profile. IMO.

Last I read it was Victoria claiming she had a military background. I certainly could have missed a MSM article tho regarding this.

Yesterday afternoon, Loretta’s disappearance was determined to be a homicide. Her remains were located in New Brunswick later that day. Her remains have been transported to the Coroner Services office in St. John, New Brunswick where an autopsy will be conducted in the coming days.

This afternoon, investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit laid charges against 28-year-old Victoria Henneberry and 25-year-old Blake Leggette. They are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow to each face a charge of first degree murder.

Rbbm.

After looking at your excellent map,( thanks! ) it was easy to imagine those two getting up to all manner of sordidness along the route.imo.

Victoria was in Calgary in November 2013, so it's possible that Blake was as well. It might be worth searching missing women between the two coasts in the last year, and especially looking at where the pair lived or stayed as they crossed the country. Since Loretta was found along the highway, it almost suggests that they were rather bold in choosing that location, which almost suggests this may not be their first time for disposing of a body.

Early twenties (young adult) couple murderers, and thrill killers, are happening all over the world.

I do not think that has been on MSM I apologize if I gave that impression. I am basing my assumption on having access to her full fb pg

Yes for sure. It just seems as of late the high profile Canadian crimes are horrific and increasing.
