Hello everyone, I've been lurking on this case for a while and decided to finally post.

I would like your thoughts on this.

Long ago, a poster called Mimi in London, wrote something about BS's favourite film/game....The plots of BS’ two favourite films per his fb (‘Fallout: Lanius’ and ‘I am Legend’) seem to contain themes and scenarios that inspire their fantasy. IMO
Most oddly coincidental is this quote from the game/film, seeing as now the Bear Clan will be helping LE as ambassadors between small First Nations towns and themselves.
  • "And who are you to come before me... you bear the insignia of the Bear, yet you do not wear it as a soldier of the West wears it."
Lanius

Fallout:Lanius seems to be only 16 minutes long. I Am Legend - I don’t see how anything on that movie could be said to contain themes and scenarios to inspire their fantasy. Seriously the guy is completely alone, surrounded by people who are now zombies for lack of a better word and he’s desperate to connect with anyone else out there.

that site doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless your flying a plane, just use radarscope app or use visible satelite

Actually, I prefer it. METAR and TAF codes are great, and ForeFlight translates enough of the codes into plain English that there’s all the info that the average person needs :)

The next step up in detail, in the US anyway, is the Forecast Discussion, which most people have never seen. I think that there’s too much reliance on graphics.

in post #131 i showed you the actual thunderstorm itself within the vis-sat, the information i gave you would be enough for you to forecast the next 12 hours or more

You and I have different preferences. More than one way to skin a cat.

I'm familiar with "I am Legend" (Wil Smith WB movie) but do you have more info on the other one? Movie or video game? Thanks.

Thompson Citizen linked earlier has an article about the first train since 2015 track damage bringing grain to the Churchill port, and a ship carrying that grain.

The polar bear sighting, 200km north of Fox Lake, could be to check along the train route, in case they hopped on and off such a grain carrying train.

These trains may go slow, as a man followed the first train on his bike.

Police are obviously probing the possibility that the pair is hiding during the day and coming into town at night to steal supplies.
Police say the last confirmed sighting of the two is in Gillam. Until authorities confirm another sighting that indicates they’ve moved on elsewhere, resources will likely remain devoted to this tiny town.

And yet it seems police aren’t so confident they’re here anymore, with Corporal Julie Courchaine revealing they believe someone may have inadvertently helped them slip the net.
In order to do so, these boys – suspected of killing Australian man Lucas Fowler, his American girlfriend and a Vancouver professor – may have changed their appearances.
This is the latest possible scenario police have gone public with in a press conference held at Winnipeg. It’s an interesting move by police to go public with this theory and could serve two purposes.

Firstly, police may genuinely have information to suggest they’ve lured someone into helping them flee Gillam, and police want to speak to that person.
Alternatively, police may be trying to lead the suspects into a false sense of complacency.

Speaking of bears. Ha ha.

Per RCMP Facebook post:

“A polar bear was spotted during the search for the suspects earlier today – about 200km north of Gillam. Just some of the wildlife that can be found in northern Manitoba.”

(There’s a lovely picture of it but I can’t figure out how to share it...)

Oh, maybe he's got a hankering for tender white meat......

As it currently stands with the military here in Gillam, there are ultimately three possibilities as to Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky’s whereabouts:
1. They were hiding in the dense forest around town and have died. Either at the hands of wildlife, weather, lack of food/water or a combination of all of the above.
2. They are hiding in the dense forest around town and are still alive. They may or may not be aware of the enormous police presence surrounding them and searching right now.
3. They are long gone from Gillam after finding a way to skip town before police confirmed sightings of them here and moved in.

Does anyone know exactly where these two sitings in Gillam took place?

[...]

Video has been released of that sighting in a co-op store. It shows the pair wandering around, appearing to look for something and then walking out empty handed.

The next day, July 22, their Toyota was found burnt out in another province east, Manitoba. This means over the space of two days, they covered three provinces across Canada.

These guys have been moving fast.

Five days since their car was torched, the focus of this nationwide manhunt remains the tiny town of Gillam.

It’s a hydro town with a population of 1200 and quite literally it’s is “the end of the road” if you have a look at a map – it is the middle of nowhere.

There is one supermarket, one place to eat at night and not much else. That being said, the people here are wonderful. bbm

Their quiet home has been inundated with media and they have been kind and welcoming.

The ideal scenario is the second one because all the police resources are in this remote part of Canada and are ready to go, should the pair be found.

Canada’s nationwide manhunt will end one of three ways - read how the search currently stands here in the tiny town of Gillam, where Armed Forces have moved in:

Wow -- it's mating season now and encountering bears in the bush could be vicious for both suspects and searchers. MOO

I have absolutely no idea if they would have access to water if they’re in the bush (can any locals weigh in on this?), but I would hazard to guess that their best bet would be to stay close to town or a water source of some kind. Remember the rule of 3’s: you can go 3 hrs without shelter / 3 days without water / 3 weeks without food. So unless they have an abundance of H2O on hand (highly unlikely) or are close to a water source, they will need to be closer to town, especially in the heat and with all the energy they’ll be burning up. Mind boggling …

IMO, I feel the surveillance footage was done to establish a false presence. They never had any intention on purchasing anything but knew that the footage would be used as their “wanted” image. Bryer appears to be side glancing the final camera as though he wants to look at it but was advised not to by Kam. I am also unsure as to why Bryer is mentioned first in all news postings, based on the video he quite literally follows Kam’s lead which gives you a clear indication of who the leader is.
