I think he'd be a bit of a pet for an older Eastern European guy that likes men like him, but I expect that anyone that takes him in will be his next victim - if it can be managed. It sounds like the Montreal victim was drugged ... he may have problems doing that again.

My bet, if he left the country, is fly to Paris, get on a train ... head east. He'll grow his hair and maybe dress like a woman.

I agree Otto, there's a good chance he will disguise himself as a woman. I believe his ex-lover said that she had the sense he was torn between being a man's man (James Dean) and a woman. I wonder if he's tested the 'transvetite' thing out in the past. Afterall, he looks like he is headed down the Michael Jackson path....with his facial features looking more and more feminine over time.

In checking out cutelittlenemo1 posts on forums, I came across a post on an extreme travel website. (can I name it?) The cutelittlenemo1 post was about Russia. But while I was on the site another user name caught my eye, ReptilianKittenEater. In the end I don't think this latter person is LRM, in spite of their location being listed as St. Catherines, since the person had posted many, many posts over the years and seemed interested in mountain climbing. (I just can't picture LRM mountain climbing.) But the profile pic of this person looked like I imagine LRM would look with a wig on.

ETA: correcting littlenemo username; not 100% it is the one he used there...my memory is going!! I don't have time to go back and look right now. Off to work.

I've also read that he has a wife and child and is living in Europe. Who knows.

I don't believe the comment about his wife and child. So far I've seen references to him saying he was moving to Montreal to be closer to his child; he was moving to Toronto to be closer to his child; he was moving to Colorado (or was it Arizona?) to be closer to his wife and child and now this reference to a wife and child in Russia. I just think it's another lie thrown in with the pile of other lies he puts out there.

There are photos of him with what appears to be a girlfriend. There are also online indications that he fathered a child. One video posits that Magnotta’s child died.

On Thursday, Nina Arsenault, a former girlfriend, told the Toronto Star that Magnotta had a temper and “if it went on it was terrifying.”
Arsenault, a transsexual who dated Magnotta 10 years ago, said he spoke very briefly of his family, but when he did there was “always red hot anger.”
“He hated his dad. He hated his family and said they didn’t understand him and he had to get away from him.”
Arsenault said she saw him pick fights with people on the street during their three-week relationship.
The two met at Remington’s, a Yonge St. strip club. Arsenault said Magnotta worked there as a stripper, adding he was also an escort and did live sex shows via web cam.
She said Magnotta exhibited a number of eccentricities, including banging his head in the shower and hitting himself quite regularly.

Evidence gathered in that campaign has been sent to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Ontario SPCA spokesman Brad Dewar confirmed an investigation was launched in February, 2011, but he wouldn’t reveal whether Mr. Magnotta is a suspect.

He said the ongoing probe has not found sufficient evidence to suggest the person in the videos was in the province when the footage was recorded. The Ontario SPCA has reached out to law-enforcement and animal-cruelty agencies around the world for help, Mr. Dewar added. The list includes municipal police services in Toronto and Montreal, the RCMP and FBI and an animal-welfare organization in the United Kingdom.

I have a feeling that if he isn't caught soon, he will do this again. I agree, this isn't the first time. I don't think it will be his last. Now that the authorities are on to him, I have this sinking feeling that he will play a cat-and-mouse game, with more murders and more videos, until he is caught. I don't believe he will commit suicide, not even if cornered. This is too much of a thrill for him, imo.

THIS. He will want the whole trial and media attention that comes along with it.

It makes total sense that he would have committed the Hollywood crime. Completely symbolic in location and definitely attention getting.

There was a Robert O on KH's sister's alleged fb page who resembled LRM. The profile pic was "RO" covered in blood. There were 2 photos on his fb that appeared to be skull wounds. Reading your post, I am now convinced RO was LRM. The pic was reported and his profile has been removed.

There is a french article in the Journal de Montréal. The reporter asked the manager of Remington's if LRM worked there in 2006 and the manager would not confirm. The owner of Remington's who now owns another club called Flash could not be reached. The reporter also interviewed a customer who denies recognizing LRM and also denies sightings of LRM in Toronto's gay village.

A senior French police official says he is "sure" that Luka Rocco Magnotta is currently in France. Another French police official says Magnotta apparently flew to Paris from Montreal last weekend.

The officials say France's fugitive search unit was ordered to hunt for Magnotta.

Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about such searches publicly.

A first-degree murder conviction carries an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole before 25 years.

According to the warrant made public at the Montreal courthouse Thursday, Magnotta is also charged with committing an "indignity to the body of the human remains (of) an unknown person." The second charge carries a maximum sentence of five years.

The same warrant revealed Magnotta was initially accused of second-degree murder, a lesser charge which still carries a life sentence but offers more flexibility to a judge when determining parole eligibility.

Commander Ian Lafreniere, of the Montreal Police Service said the warrant charging Magnotta with second-degree murder was issued early in the investigation, while investigators were still at the murder scene. He said a prosecutor later decided to upgrade the charge to first-degree murder after she was shown a disturbing video depicting a man, believed to be Magnotta, committing indignities to a body.

Slightly O/T, but very recently I was reading posts on another thread on WS (I honestly don't remember which) in which posters were saying that snuff films were just urban legends like "white slavery" and there had never been an actual confirmed "real" snuff film.

I was rather happy to have believed those assertions. .

That said, I have not clicked on any of the image or video links and will not. I am already haunted by the recounting of them here in these posts, but I will say a collective "thanks" to the braver posters who gave us a written recap.

I don't want to see it, but I did want to know what the videos contained.

I also hope that sick beesh KH will somehow be found to have a tie to LM and it will be something that will land her evil tuchus back in the pokey!
