For our Canadian sleuths: How regulated is travel by air, auto, bus or rail to the United States? I'm essentially asking is it difficult to travel to the States undetected via auto, bus or train.

I viewed a news article earlier which debunked that girl is KH. The Canadian news source could have been mistaken and your friend could be correct; I don't know...

According to his necrophiac serial killer blog, he fell in love with a mummified corpse. So he is a necrophile and likely, he has killed before. He is also a self-professed cannibal. He likely feasted on his victim after killing him (on the 15th?) Police SHOULD collect the carpet from his apartment in case there is blood from more that this particular victim. JMO

I agree. In the thumbnails I looked at from the murder video he seemed very prepared. Like making sure he was completely covered as to not be recognised. This is not his first murder.
And the police are negligent in not collecting evidence. Very good point about missing key evidence from any other victims.
Also I want to know where his friends Raymond and Alex are. He mentions them and I am wonder what involvement they may have. IMO you aren't in a relationship with a person that is cruel and a necrophiliac unless you have some like ideas.

This case is just as sickening as the beheading case in Winnipeg.

Even more so, for me. That case was horrifying, but there was no sense that Li took any conscious pleasure in his horrific acts. Here I get a sense of almost ecstatic pleasure taken in the lead-up as well as in the act itself. I hope they get him soon, and that the carnival ends there.

All of his tweets are still there (which are very insightful btw) but if you search for those that tweeted AT him, they are all gone before a couple of days ago. (All the ones before the timeline of the story broke). Of course that could mean no one before now ever tweeted him.

The only thing that would make sense is that the authorities are hoping he will return... which is unlikely. I believe he is long gone now, possibly out of the country.

I've never heard of anything like it. Way too early to tell, but it's interesting that at least part of the blogosphere is already reading this as a desperate political act. Whatever the motive, it's certainly deeply unsettling -- and it does come at the end of a very contentious few weeks in Canadian politics.
