I was SHOCKED to hear on the news that he used to be KH's boyfriend. I had always thought that he was also the father of her first child...will keep searching for a link to that!

In reviewing the timeline, it seems that Magnotta likely had at least 24 hours to get away from the time that the suitcase with the torso was discovered (Tues, May 29 @ 10am) until he was named a suspect (Wed, May 30 @ 2:30pm).

elepher50's research seems to indicate the video in question emerging online Fri, May 25.

Therefore Magnotta could have fled anywhere from May 25 - 29. Based on the news video of the apartment I'd be shocked if Magnotta had the financial resources to flee via international air travel (last minute fares are expensive) to a non-extradition country; but I would guess it might be possible he could have stolen funds from the victim to meet that expense.

Depending on where hes going internationally it's not always that expensive, and definitely not out of montreal. If I went to the airport right now I could have a 7 day all inclusive carribean vacation for 400$(Flight, hotel, meals and liquor) a flight alone is around 200-300ish)

If he truly wrote te article on how to dissappear then i'm guessing he has multiple false id's. Let's just hope the MTL police are more ahead of this than I am afraid they are. The worst part, imo, is that the crowd and type of people he will likely attract and 'hang' with won't be the ones following this story, and he'll have an easy time blending in.

I think there have been 22 so far LadyL. In Maple Ridge, and they started up again approx 2 weeks ago. I'm keeping close tabs on that situation for personal reasons.

Went to the FB account he subscribed to. That guys last post says he will be out of town without internet for a while. This was on the 26th. He is an older guy with a wife or girlfriend. Just seemed a wierd coinky dink. Can't figure why "Luka" subscribed to him. Doesn't seem his interest.

Based on his fb pics, he might have connections in Russia or Russian mafia. Could be hype too though. Why would they want to protect him though? As for his traveling around, he probably has sugar dadies all over the world who would wire him cash if he asked. JMO
