My theory is that he really does believe all those things he said. He doesn't see it as his fault at all, and really truly sees it as a 'reaction'. Because he was owed her, because she didn't meet the expectations she was supposed to(I'm guessing she actually stood up to him for once) because she wasn't obedient and meek.
In the screen shots there are a lot of photos that are now blank but the comments are still up, and there is one he directs to Anna. And it's completely cruel and unnecessary, blaming her for what happened(while of course saying "I'm not saying its your fault...but") I think thats just the way his brain works. He is entitled to what he wants, when, and from who.
Yes, I agree with you. I've seen this same attitude in people who abuse their animals or children. They feel that their treatment of the victim is justified. There is nothing within the abuser's conscience to halt their actions, even to the point of killing their victim.
