GUILTY Canada - Melinda Vasilije, 22, stabbed to death 47 times, Kitchener, 28 April 2017 *Arrest*

My theory is that he really does believe all those things he said. He doesn't see it as his fault at all, and really truly sees it as a 'reaction'. Because he was owed her, because she didn't meet the expectations she was supposed to(I'm guessing she actually stood up to him for once) because she wasn't obedient and meek.

In the screen shots there are a lot of photos that are now blank but the comments are still up, and there is one he directs to Anna. And it's completely cruel and unnecessary, blaming her for what happened(while of course saying "I'm not saying its your fault...but") I think thats just the way his brain works. He is entitled to what he wants, when, and from who.

Yes, I agree with you. I've seen this same attitude in people who abuse their animals or children. They feel that their treatment of the victim is justified. There is nothing within the abuser's conscience to halt their actions, even to the point of killing their victim.

Exactly, he would have or has done this at some point to someone. Maybe not with this force, maybe not to a partner, but he's done it. And he's blamed them for it.

I've met men and women like this. They don't change, because there is 'noting wrong with them'.

Search for Ager Hasan continues

Jag Jamil is Hasan’s brother and knew Vasilije quite well.

[...]

Jamil says the fight that night happened after his brother admitted to seeing other girls. According to the Reddit post, Hasan and Vasilije were having the same argument the night of the murder.

Police know Hasan crossed into the U.S. on the Peace Bridge from Fort Erie 6a.m on Friday. He was last spotted in Pennsylvania.

Funeral was yesterday. R.I.P. Melinda :rose:

I hope his brother keeps talking. He's now contradicted what AH wrote in his "confession letter".

Sorry for the somewhat late comment to this...

So the brother says he just wants his brother to stay safe. When the reporter asked if he wants to tell Ager to turn himself in, the brother doesn't respond and then simply shakes his head. In other words, his family will protect him and hide him. They don't care about the victim. They don't want the killer to take responsibility or step up and prove his innocence.

How is this dude still not in custody??

US media hasn't picked up the story, and, even here on WS, not many American WSers would look at the heading on this thread and have any idea that the search is actually focused on the US! Can the mods highlight that fact in some way? Heck, the guy was seen in Pennsylvania and he 'confessed' on social media!!

Great question. But with very little press in the US about this case and this fugitive, and the fact that it's a domestic murder and not a random one, it appears there is no real pressure to find this guy. He's had a long time to just disappear.

I hope LE in both countries are keeping a watch on his family members and social media connections. He seems to have connections to Nashville and Montreal just as an example of places he could go for help.

Sorry for third post in a row, but I'm just catching up.

Kamille, where did you read about possible connections in Nashville? If Hasan was driving through Erie PA, he could have very well been headed to catch the I-75 in Ohio, which would take him in a fairly straight shot south to Tennessee.

He appears to have at least one relative, who is a follower on his IG, there.

I guess it really does make a difference what kind of "noise" the family and friends of the victims make in the media and on social media. :dunno:

Wow... I didn't realize he had posted 40 photos along with his "confession". Those photos show a man obsessed to me. He was screen capping her IG. And all of these photos on her IG, plus his other IG account under agerkurdd were deleted after the break up it appears. But he kept the photos. And he allegedly broke into her home. Then he contacted her, against a court order, and charmed his way back into her home to "talk". Then he killed her.

I heard about a guy who posted on reddit that he killed someone and every time I clicked the link, it didn't work so I didn't know who was involved (suspect and victim). This is crazy. He needs to be found ASAP. What if he goes ballistic to get himself shot? SMH. What was the motive to kill her? What a waste.

Did he actually post a message to her roommate, pretty much blaming her for their break up...and for her friend's death really. SMH

This 🤬🤬🤬 needs to be caught. I noticed his aunt in France reached out to him on IG for him to call his Uncle. I hope it's to convince him to turn himself in and not to afford him any help on the run.

Does anyone think he maybe took his own life? Have there been zero sightings or are we just not being updated?

Unfortunately, it appears that no one is really looking. I'm sure the car is registered to LE in the US and Canada as a bolo type vehicle, and his info is available to LE agencies if he commits another crime, but other than that, there appears to be no real manhunt for him.

If he took his own life, other than driving himself and his car off a high deserted cliff or into a deep body of water, I'd think at least the car would have been found abandoned somewhere?

Perhaps I said something wrong....but I thought I posted that I didn't think that Hasan killed himself. His social media comments imply that he blames the victim.

He's not going to take responsibility for his actions. MOO.

My post was in response to another poster questioning whether he may have taken his own life. I agree with you. According to the horrible comment he sent to MV's roommate, he appears to believe that she was a bad influence on MV.

His comment to the roommate, which was posted after he had murdered MV and was on the run...

Honestly Anna I met you twice so I don't know you. After she moved in with you she started acting differently and agressive. I don't know what you put into her head. I'm not blaming you but I just wished you had been a better friend to her. She used to show me texts of you, telling her "screw you bf let's go out and club"..I'm not saying it was your fault for the initial April break up but I know you had something to do with it, everything else that followed was unfortunate. All I'm saying is life was better without you. Take care.

Yeah okay then. He's not blaming her or anything.... :notgood:
