I just read about this case today on Doe Network and thought it was worth creating a post about.

She disappeared on 1/1/1999 and supposedly has been seen and possibly also heard from in the past few years. There's something suspicious about this case to me though, as I have a hard time believing that nobody took further action when she was sighted, especially if a family member was the one to have noticed her on the street just last year (and in poor health).

The NAMPN link gives greater detail. I couldn't really find much about this case through web searches but would like to know more about these sightings.

Any folks from Ontario have any insight on this one?

I'd love to know about this. Not to assume, but I'm a white guy and my last name is Yeo--maybe related somehow. I'll ask my grandpa.

Edit: Archived version of the NAMPN post available here.

There is literally nothing on Google about Melissa...

I actually am Melissa. None of the posted “sightings” were of me. I had actually never been in those towns at all. Please know, the family was reunited 15 years ago. Everyone is safe.
