I can't find him on charley project or doe network?

He's on doenetwork Beamie ... they might have just been in the process of updating the file with the new age progression pic. Don't know why I can't link to the actual page, but if you go to "Search Database" and pop his name in, the files comes up now:

I couldn't locate him at Charley Project either :(

I too have seen a Michael look-alike in BC, so out of curiosity, are you in Canada or the US? I understand if you are uncomfortable answering.

It was late at night and I was coming out of a store in the Fraser Valley. I was about 3 feet from him and this young man was looking at me very strangely and intently, as if he was wanting me to notice him. He was with a much older man who seemed somewhat brusk/angry??. I got back to my car and sat there thinking "where do i know this kid from". Then it hit me like a ton of bricks that he looked like the age-enhanced pic of Michael. I snooped around a bit, saw some kind of unusual things, and got a plate # and vehicle description.

While it seems nothing every materialized as a result of my letter, Michael is never too far from my mind. I hope Crystal knows that, along with her, others always remember him and will always keep looking for her son.

Wow, Silly. Do you think you should send that in again?

This is a uplifting account of a man who finally learned the truth about his real identity.

CBS News) A year ago, a Philadelphia man clicked on a website for missing children, and found a picture of himself. That discovery sent Steve Carter on a search to unlock the secrets of his past.

Carter always knew he was adopted, but when got older, he started to wonder who his biological parents were. That curiosity and a simple web search took him on a journey that would change his life and even now, there are parts of his story that remain a mystery.

While he's always been happy with his adoptive parents, something never felt quite right"

Sunday is the 22nd Annual Michael Dunahee Keep The Hope Alive walk, join the family fun run/walk around the beautiful streets of Esquimalt in support of Child Find British Columbia.

Child Find British Columbia is a not for profit charitable organization with the goal of reducing child victimization by providing programs and services to the public of BC."

Random thoughts..
If someone renamed a stolen child, would they try to incorporate the old name with a new one, ie. Michael becomes Mitch or Mark, Paul -
or do they go for a completely different sounding name, Benny or Steve?

Discovery of missing Cleveland women gives hope to moms in Victoria cases

There isn’t much that gives the mothers of long-missing local children hope — but the escape of three young women held captive for about a decade in Cleveland is one of them.

[snip]

Dunahee, whose son Michael was only four when he disappeared from the playing field at Blanshard Elementary School on March 24, 1991 — leading to one of the largest police investigations in Canadian history — said she’s happy for the families in Cleveland that have their children back. “They’ve got a long road to recovery, for sure.”

The worst, she said, is the “not knowing, not having the answers.”

The resemblance is uncanny.

If this isn't Michael, I wouldn't be shocked to learn that he is somehow related to the Dunahee family.

If what this young man says is the truth, think about it and, well .....

Either he is Michael or someone has some 'splainin to do :silenced:

I agree kmclaren, I see little to no resemblence. Michaels face is longer and narrower. The lips and mouth are different, nose is different too...

I also read that Police are basically saying they do not believe this man to be Michael Dunahee.

"We don’t believe it is Michael but just like every other tip we have to investigate it to the ends of the earth," said Russell.

How can someone get away with that and someone not clue in that its Michael Dunahee... Great, so he is stuck with some nut that can't accept the death of his son. There has to be more people in in it. Unless this guy is a loner.

I can't figure out what you were responding to with this comment. Did a post disappear? That's the only way it makes sense. What are/were you referring to?
