This struck me as interesting today. He was carrying US currency but found in Canada in 1992. The cross-border issue alone could have prevented an identification all this time. Is there a chance he is an unidentified U.S. citizen that could be in NAMUS?

“On November 5, 1992, the skeletal remains of a man were found near Parksville on the Englishman River in British Colombia. The man had extensive dental restorations and may have been American. He had recently had surgery for ingrown toenails, on both feet, and had a healed fracture to the left collarbone, which was repaired with a surgical wire. It is estimated that he may have died several months earlier.”
