Prowler reportedly targeting a home in The Kingsway

"Toronto police have released a security camera image of a suspect after reports of a prowler in The Kingsway neighbourhood.

Between Jan. 2 to Jan 5, police said they received three separate calls about a prowler in the Bloor Street West and Prince Edward Drive area.

The man reportedly targeted the same house each time.

It was reported that a couple was in their home when a man entered their backyard. Police said that on all occasions, the prowler peered through the windows of the home.

He is described as between 20 and 30 years of age and unshaven. He was seen wearing a black jacket with a blue hood.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police."

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Prowl by Night investigation.

Between January 2, to January 5, 2020, in the night, officers responded to three separate calls for a prowler in the Bloor Street West and Prince Edward Drive area.

It is reported that:

- a couple were in their home

- a man entered their backyard

- on all occasions he peered through the windows of the home

- he targeted the same home each time

He is described as 20-30, and unshaven. He was wearing a black jacket with a blue hood.

A photograph of him is released.

''The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a wanted man.
Between January 2, and January 5, 2020, in the night, officers responded to three separate calls for a prowler in the Bloor Street West and Prince Edward Drive area.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at approximately 3 p.m., officer executed a search warrant on a home in the Park Lawn Road and Berry Road area.

Ryan Perry, 24, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1. Three counts of Prowl by Night
2. Three counts of Mischief
He will appear in court, at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 10 a.m., in room 204.''
