''During an interview on the night he was arrested, murder suspect Adam Strong talked candidly with a detective about his proclivity for rough sex, video viewed in court shows. - DRPS video screen capture ''

''The Crown alleges the deaths occurred either during the course of sexual assaults, or when the women were being forcibly confined by Strong.''

''Police also interviewed two sex workers who described unsettling encounters with Strong during which he blocked them as they tried to leave, court heard.''

''An examination of Strong’s electronic devices revealed searches that included “gore sites” that depicted “death, dismemberment, and people being sexually abused,” Short said.''

First week of Adam Strong murder trial ends with ruling on evidence

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT within article

"The final order of business on Friday were arguments on a defense motion to exclude evidence in support of charges relating to the alledged murder of Kandis Fitzpatrick, who disappeared in 2008. That application was dismissed by Superior Court Justice Joseph Di Luca. ...

It was the second defense application ruled upon so far by the judge, and more are scheduled to be heard as Strong's trial - it is anticipated to last three months - continues next week."

("The trial resumes Monday")

I haven't had a reason to walk by there. Years ago I would've. I've only drove past since it happened.
If I was to walk past there now at night I'm positive I'd feel creeped out.

Is there still a bad vibe around the house?
Do you feel it as you walk by?

HUNTER: Trial resumes for accused Oshawa horror killer Adam Strong | Toronto Sun
''And there he sits in a police interrogation room.

Confident. Smug. Glib.''

''Heart-breaking testimony heard last week at Oshawa Superior Court laid bare the sickening details of a house of horrors allegedly overseen by the movie set gofer and security guard.

More of the same will be heard as the trial begins its second week in a judge-alone legal proceeding expected to last three months.

If the litany of horror phased the beefy Strong, he didn’t show it. Evidence presented at trial did not appear to move the needle on his demeanour one iota.''

''If you have a heart, pray for Rori and Kandis’ families … the emotional load they have carried in their souls would break most of us in two.''

Last weeks court, video of Sept 30:

@1:30 "However, through questioning, several details were revealed about the accused killer. He lived in Oshawa his whole life. He told officers he did not have any family whom he kept in touch with, that he was unemployed at the time of his arrest."

Dotr, the Toronto Sun has a real offensive angle in some of the verbiage within the article. Just my opinion, compared to other news sources, eh?

‘It was just bad luck’: Adam Strong reflects on discovery of human remains during interrogation
Monday, Oct 5, 2020

"In the first two hours of an 11-hour interrogation on Nov. 8, 2018, Adam Strong seems at ease with Durham Regional Police polygraph expert Det. Paul Mitton, asking the officer for a good meal and a cigarette while addressing rumors about a bounty for his head."

...

"Strong said when he saw the news that someone had found a torso, he panicked. Mitton told the accused that Rori Hache was not even on the police radar at that point because she was not reported missing until the following day. Strong then told Mitton that he knew the 18-year-old was sleeping on the side of Oshawa Creek."

... wrt the 3 rings;

"He also inquired about getting back the jewelry that had been seized when he was arrested in December 2017. The detective insinuated that police thought they might be trophies because he talked about procuring them when officers took the necklaces off his neck.

"It took me a long time to buy that stuff. They thought they were trophies? I'm like, 'Oh my God no,'" Strong clarified."

I watched part of the interview with LE last night on the news. This guy is absolutely disgusting. He's so blaise about everything.

He doesn't feel bad about what he's done apparently. All he wants is his jewelry back.

I really want to know about his upbringing and childhood. Has he been in trouble as a child? What did he do? Any animal mutilations? Does he have friends? What do people say about him that worked with him?

I'm going to suggest that there was stuff that was "off" about him for a long time.

MOO

That's pretty standard with the Sun, unfortunately -- it's Canada's national tabloid with local content/ editions. It does have a history of dogged crime reporting, however, albeit with a generally right-of-centre editorial angle.

This case is really getting to me. I have no doubt that Strong would have abused and likely killed other young women had he not been caught.

I have no doubt as well, that he would have killed again.

All the women, that have and will testify against AS, will seal his fate.

From link, The inmate committee ?! rbbm.
“He’s [Strong] in deep s–t,” one former convict told the Toronto Sun. “They’ll know right away who he is. Everybody has to go through the Joyceville reception centre and when you get there you meet the inmate committee.”

He added: “The word will go out the minute he arrives.”

Strong’s time behind bars will be a living hell if he’s convicted. General population a certain death sentence.

Rori Hache’s uncle, Bernie Guindon, is a former high-ranking member of Satan’s Choice and a one-time member of the Hells Angel.

“You can’t kill the niece of somebody connected to the Hells Angels. It all gets down to that. You can’t kill a biker’s niece and get away with it.”

Oshawa man on trial for murdering 2 teenaged girls sends condolences to victim’s family
Oct 6, 2020

"I don't know how appropriate this is, but I'd like to pass on to the mother and father my condolences. But I don't know if that's appropriate. I do mean it. I'm that kind of guy," he told Mitton.

...

He also dispelled myths about how he heard he was trying to befriend homeless people, that he often goes to high-end escort services. He called the rumors "baloney".

Strong then admitted that he had taken Hache out to dinner once, a four-course meal, and that he knew Fitzpatrick but can't remember where he met her."
