Search on for vehicle stolen from Brampton with dog inside

"The white Nissan Rogue was stolen from the Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street area sometime last night.:

"Markie, a Lhasa-Poodle breed, was inside the vehicle when it was taken."

"The vehicle is a 2011 model with the Ontario licence plate CEH S231.

Peel Regional Police are asking anyone who spots the vehicle or dog to contact them at 905-453-3311 ext. 2233"

'He's OK': Missing Brampton dog found 100 km away from home
"Markie has been found 100 kilometres away from home and he has been reunited with his owners.

"He's here. He's looking a little tired and stressed, but overall, he's OK," said owner Neha Sharma."
"The dog was found in a different stolen car — a Toyota — in the parking lot of a Newmarket strip plaza Thursday. Someone spotted the dog and called animal control."
"She was grateful to all of the media and members of the public for their help in getting the word out, and noted it was his microchip that brought him back home so quickly.

"At least they left him in a car," she said. His collar with his tagsand his green jacket were missing"
