Let's say Shannon is located alive, but not willing for whatever reason, to have that known,
would LE release information that she was found?

I think they would be obligated to release some sort of simple statement.

I am very hopeful we could track some sort of recent online activity or activity leading up to her disappearance. If only we could source more usernames etc.

I feel badly that we have exposed SB's lifestyle and hopefully her family has been made aware of Shannon's discretions if they did not know already.

I don't think her lifestyle is too out there for a liberated 25 year old, I don't feel like anything too scandalous has been exposed. I have known a handful of men and women who have dabbled in the dating site things and they're almost addicted. I know one co-worker who is addicted to posting everything about her life online via FB, Instagram/photos, dating sites, texting, etc. She's plugged-in 24-7 and is an open book for all too see, it's nuts!

But I get what you're saying - it's different if your friends/film buddies see your online presence, it might be another if your mom or dad sees….I'm thinking her family is pretty in the know, they seem like a liberal bunch from what I've seen on social media. Hopefully nothing on here has been too shocking!

This young man was last seen by his Mother on November 25th on Kensington Rd. That's roughly 6km from where SB was last reportedly seen.

Looking at the friends list it comes across as an account she was fading out or those were her close and personal friends or it is mor LARP related. No family is showing.

On her Shanswer NFSW account she posts 'why does everything happen on Wednesday and Saturday night? so she could have left to go out somewhere Wednesday at 12:30am.

Also on that profile, her and JB were engaged Dec. 13th or 20th, 2012 but her ring photo was posted on Nov. 29th, so it wasn't a total impulsive, shotgun wedding. They have known each other longer than I had thought.

There's a post on the Shanswer NSFW FB from Nov 8th, 2012, wish I could see what time of day she posted…

She said she's 'off to brave the storm, all for a tuna sub and maybe a cookie.if I don't make it back, I'll miss you all' then down in comments she said 'Lol. No car. Its a 20 minute walk' so it doesn't seem uncommon for her to walk to the store in snowy weather. Not sure where she was living at this time though and if it was the Spiller Rd address.

I think the Shannon NSFW account adds a little more to the picture of who Shannon is. Why create a new FB account? If you look, JB also has two different accounts. From this information, I would deduce that the new FB profile using her professional name was created to support her acting/comedian career. The first mentions JB far more than the second account, and the same goes for JB's new FB account. I'm not really sure what that means, but it might be worthwhile to look into.

In regards to the marriage, for me, I think her ok cupid profile closes the case on that one. She lists herself as in an 'open marriage'. I have alot of friends who are in open marriages/open relationships and it is not uncommon for them to not physically see their partners for a short period of time but remain in contact through phone/email/text...etc. If Shannon's relationship was indeed ending, wouldn't she list herself as 'single' in her ok cupid profile? I know that to hertronormatitive friends/family an open marriage/relationship can look 'messy'. I think that they were perfectly happy, because if you think about it, JB probably had the same privileges as Shannon (being with other partners) and if we look hard enough I'm guessing you will find a similar ok cupid profile for JB if one exists. I think we are looking at two people who were in a loving, caring, but perhaps not perfect open relationship. I think that she and JB may have seemed 'estranged', and perhaps there were speculation/here say that they were going through a divorce but all the online evidence supports an open marriage that was very much still a marriage.

So, my off the cuff guess is that based on the fact that she is a very attractive young lady who has a large social media/internet/public presence I think we should look into if she had anyone who was harassing her online. If she was met with foul play, it is most likely because of someone she has met/talked too/knows from previous contact.

Hope that I am adding something to the conversation, and I hope we can figure out where we should be looking next.

It seems like JB introduced her to the concept of an open marriage. I will post more answers as I go through (there are a lot and most are not relevant).

I would assume that is LE looking into her account.

There is really no 'posting' on ok cupid. You can change your profile, answer more questions, reply to messages...etc. As previously stated in another post, it shows that she last logged in on Dec.12th. Which either means she did in fact log in or LE logged into her account. It looks like there has been no activity since Dec.12th. For her messages, it shows that she 'replies selectively' which means that she receives a lot of messages but only replies to a few. Pretty normal for a female on ok cupid.

I'm currently on the message boards on ok cupid to see if anyone reported any creepy users in Calgary, and see maybe if I can link them to a FB/twitter/etc. and then see if there is any interaction with SB.

Edit: Can't find anything...I wish I knew who she was talking to on ok cupid.
