Without an update from LE or the family, no body and no crime scene, there is not much that can be done until something breaks.

We're still here, waiting patiently for some activity…

I don't think Shannon is out there hiding, she would've been spotted by now. Even if she was living on the streets let's say, there's great community and comradery with those living on the streets and if LE or anyone questioned them, they'd probably recognize a newcomer to their areas. The silence isn't a good sign, in my opinion...

Realizing there's not much to really do up in here, but wondering why on earth it's even being considered Shannon left her life willingly?

Was she unhappy in her career? Struggling for her next break? Had she grown tired of it all? Would Shannon Burgess, aspiring actress/comedian really walk away from her career? From the name she had made for herself? She didn't even take her phone? or car...??? Any chance they are both in JBs name, could that be why she left them behind...??? Any chance she also left behind a note...????

Did she take her things...??? Why do I feel The answer is a big a$$ NO...???

All I know for sure is the continued silence is ultra saddening. A young woman vanishes and....................................nothing.

It seems as though everything went quiet about Shannon after the (unrelated) pics at Fish Creek, instigated a search by LE with cadaver dogs.
Could it be that something was discovered to indicate that Shannon was in fact there - and the family told to wait until spring for another search?

(a) whether he's going to have her declared dead to reap federal survivor benefits and/or life insurance ((possibly through his group life plan coverage)) or

(b) get default divorce .....

By Saturday its supposed to be more seasonable temps with a forecasted low of -21 but for now it seems it's more like May than January.

It's very weird that we haven't had an update regarding Shannon from LE, or her family. Still thinking of taking that walk, but not sure if it would help. Might be a good idea because of the nice weather. I can take a peek around the river as well.

I cannot for the life of me, figure out why there has been such silence on this case. No flyers, no public pleas for assistance from the family, no website created... It is very odd in a missing persons case to hear so little.

Here is another name that the family is trying to track down:
"We're looking to locate a guy named AJ who has now changed his name to P***o E****** (I'll attache his FB page) He has had Justin set up to be assaulted before. His accomplice - the driver of the car that night. Police had interviewed him but decided he was too wimpy to hurt Justin. His friends, however, are not. This has always been a thought, that he was involved somehow. That maybe he didn't make it out of the car where they said they did....
It's a theory we have looked at but haven't had any luck."

Could it be possible that LE/family have located her or at least know where she is (safe and sound) and perhaps her disappearance was of her own choice due to some type of mental health crisis/needing to get away?.......and at the request of the family LE has not updated her being found/located in hopes that this will just fade away and prevent speculation or SB being asked many questions/feeling embarrassed?

I agree, I think if she was found they would have to update their public police file, and could just say the family wants privacy at this time and the public doesn't need to know details of the case. It's spooky quiet though, very strange...

Maybe they have concrete reason to believe she went somewhere to get away, and they're afraid that if they give any updates or mention in the media again that it will drive her further away/to want to continue to stay gone...like trying to give her 'space' to return when she's ready.

It's the strangest case.
