I think we also have to consider the possible confinement aspect of the crime as well. If SP was confined in the apt without being able to leave of his own free will, and he died during that confinement, that would warrant a 1st degree murder charge whether or not there is any premeditation or pre planning involved.

I was kinda hoping that they've retained an attorney who is advising them to remove themselves from all social media before turning themselves in. Probably just wishful thinking and its more like she was getting alerts and friend requests galore so she deactivated it.

They don't seem like the smartest perps if indeed this was planned and deliberate. They certainly did not take measures to move the body to a second location, conceal themselves from cameras, etc. Perhaps signing into her Facebook account is another dumb move that will allow LE to track them down? One would think they could see her location based on where she logs in from.

There has definitely been some strange wording from LE in media reports with regards to SP's cell phone so I'm guessing that the perps may have used it, which may have lead to the apartment building, and may still have it since it was not found in his truck, at the apartment or on his person. I wonder if they'll try to sell it if they've taken it with them? And what are they going to do with the dog? Hate to think a poor innocent animal may also be killed to help keep them on the run.

Clyde Marshall, former Saint John resident, wanted on murder charge

Suspect Clyde Marshall, 36, is a former resident of Saint John and still has family and friends in the area.

Sgt. Lori Magee with the Saint John Police Force says there is a possibility Marshall could return to the area and warns it may be dangerous to approach him.

I don't think they would wait to announce their arrest. I think they would want to let the public know the armed and dangerous had been apprehended.

Marcus Marshall is an alias for Clyde Marshall.

May be hitch hiking because of the dog and no car and may not be using conventional travel.

They may still be wearing the same clothes as seen in the video surveillance. They have backpacks with them. Reported sightings from Northern and Eastern Ontario.
