Samson’s mother seeking closure

“Police have told me they have absolutely no idea where Taylor’s body is. They are doing everything they can to find him, but are coming up empty. They are going through all sorts of video looking for hints or clues,” Boutilier said from Halifax. “They aren’t going to stop investigating but they told me this morning they will have to scale it back on Friday.” :(

Oh wow, JMJH, my school!!
Knew those roads like the back of my hand.

Based on what I have read, LE seem to be saying that he was killed there.
I believe they said the apartment was the crime scene.
Must have found blood or fluids

How do two smart young men with promising futures get involved in things like this?
It must be so heartbreaking for both families

I really appreciate your empathy, Rosemadderlake.

I swung by Will's (former) apartment today. I took some pictures of the area and the location. There are only 4 properties facing south st. on that block. Will lived over top an Asian grocery (Don88's). The Asian grocery/Will's apartment is on the right corner (though the entrance to the apt is on the side of the building and thus Henry st), and the daycare is on the left corner, and the frat house is in the middle. There is one narrow apartment building between the frat house and the Asian grocery. There is a laundromat that has been vacant for a few years attached to the back of the Asian grocery; a city application for redevelopment is posted. Looking from the back of Will's apartment on Henry up to University, there is a place for trucks to make deliveries to the university, and a parkade.

There are a lot of garbage bags in front of or in the stairwell to Will's appartment, and 4 were full of stuffing. It was chopped up foam, like stuffing from the inside an armchair or a mattress. Some of the bags were outside and some inside (lots of glass to look through). Two garbage bags were covered with a white sheet while others were not. I noticed a lot of open windows, including one with no bug screen.

Just figuring out how to get the pics off the phone and up here.

Thank you for the photos.
My mind is going all over the place about the garbage bags

Mine is too - one would think that the police checked them for forensics - wouldn't they - geeze why are there so many garbage bags full of stuffing..........cripes.

I wonder if there is any furniture missing, because.. you know what i am not saying

Yep, know what you are saying. Wondering the same thing. The police did see enough at the Henry Street apt to file a 1st degree murder charge so am wondering what they saw/found to warrant a 1st degree without a body.

Sandeson attended Cobequid Educational Centre and was one of two Lieutenant Governor's Award recipients in 2009. He completed his Grade 11 year with honours with distinction. He was named a finalist for the 2014 male athlete of the year award through the Truro Sport Heritage Society, and helped Nova Scotia win bronze in the 2013 Canada Games in the 4x400m relay.

He completed a bachelor of science in kinesiology at Dalhousie University, where he was a member of the Tigers’ track and field team.

Court documents show Sandeson has no prior offences.

I think this is what makes me ill about this case.
I just don't get how a young man can go from ^ that to murder.

What could have happened to him?
Who or what influenced him lately?
And who was the new client?
I hope William talks, but apparently based on no body being found, I am assuming that he isn't saying much.
Part of me wants to believe he doesn't know where the body is, but the other part of me says that is just wishful thinking
I would hope he would want to save himself if it was possible

I notice the date on the Fed ex box is April 22 2015.Why would it still be there 4 months later? Was it opened Ladybug? JL Concepts looks like an auto parts company.

I too am curious about all that stuffing. Surely, if the police found DNA/blood/fluids etc., they would have secured that as evidence. I do know Narks will slice open anything looking for drugs, so maybe that is the reason for all the stuffing (i.e. cut couch cushions etc.).

Thanks for the great pictures, Ladybug.

ROD fee is Reimbursement on Delivery. The ROD fee is charged to customers who do not have a FedEx account number or who do not have a FedEx account in good credit or standing. This fee is collected from the recipient at the time of delivery, in addition to any duties and taxes that may be applicable.
