Kamloops RCMP ask for help in search for missing 62-year-old woman

Police say Vaughan was last seen leaving her apartment on Kamloops' North Shore on the evening of Feb. 3.

Thelma Vaughan's car was found on east Shuswap Road, near the Lafarge Bridge in Kamloops, B.C., on Feb 7.

...Vaughan is described as caucasian, five foot two inches tall, 130 pounds with grey hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information about Vaughan's whereabouts is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.

RCMP said they will be returning to search regularly as snow melts and the creek running behind Burfield drive thaws. They also stated Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR) will return to search again when the snow melts.
The helicopter will also be used in Kamloops today to search for missing 62 year old woman Thelma Vaughan.

Police have confirmed that a body pulled from the South Thompson River on Wednesday afternoon is that of missing Kamloops woman Thelma Vaughan.
