DM was in Nevada? Speculation that LB was out in Las Vegas working at a club on The Dirty website. Does it give a timeline for when he was in Nevada?

Whoah this is a bombshell! I'm convinced now more than ever that DM has a long trail of serious criminal activity behind him, despite not having a prior record.

Is it any wonder he acted recklessly and arrogantly with the TB kidnapping/murder? After being vetted by LE about stuff like Laura B, WM's suicide and passing with flying colours he must have believed he was born with a horseshoe up his butt. It makes me wonder if LE even had an inkling about the raves, and self professed coke dealings. He even had the stones to order up an incinerator and have it on his property around the same time. DM's relatives were not the only ones who were apparently fooled about this guy, if only LE had tried to scratch the surface, TB might still be alive.

I'm going to quote you not because I think LE is entirely at fault.

I am starting to think more that possibly these guys were looking for the identical truck that TB was driving ,something to do with drugs , either they believed the truck was carry something and someone pointed to that truck and everything went hailo

My opinion is that it would not be used for that purpose. Unless they were able to remaster a new VIN for the truck, they would not be able to license and insure it ie. you don't register stolen vehicles.

Either this truck was going to be used for parts, or they had a purpose of using it to commit further crimes in the local area that required hauling. It may have been destined to become a "phantom vehicle". Repaint, remove the running boards, and other modifications to remove the former configuration so it can't be identified. MOO

someone posted on WS earlier (apologies I don't remember who) that s/he knew of someone who bought old wrecks FOR the VIN numbers, and transferred the numbers to stolen vehicles. The stolen autos then become legit as if repaired.

My understanding of the story is that the Canadian distributor is in Manitoba. I believe police are not releasing how he got it (if it was delivered, etc) but it was probably delivered to his farm by the outfit he purchased it from.

I believe there was a previous post that indicated Manitoba was the only supplier of the incinerator, non in ONtario

interesting that Maragarita Shumakova (above) was friends with Mila Johnson (they lived together briefly; I can't remember if it was in foster care or a group home or one of the families took the other in, or...?) , who also went missing, and whose remains (sadly) have recently been found in the Niagara River. LE is claiming no foul play (!?).

they 'lived' together is what I read. Mila was living with her family after Shumakova disappeared...she was upset that her friend wasn't the type to runaway.......given that Mila was a ''good'' kid and didn't mess with the local boys but Shumakova did (according to the article on links provided) maybe Mila knew something that she ''shouldn't'' -- as they were close friends.

Yes, that is true.

And from what I can gather from the company's website, it's possible they do delivery and set-up so it's possible that DM didn't even physically go to MB to purchase it, that he ordered it and it was delivered.

I read the realtor's quote that he told him he was buying it to build a house for him and his fiancée, but he never visited the property with said fiancée before buying it (realtor only mentions his father accompanied him), now 2 years later there's no fiancée and there's no house.

Yeah, I searched through Google last night for manufacturers of deadstock incinerators in ON as well as I found it weird that he'd purchase one from MB....but through my searches I found that although there are other companies that sell them in ON, they're not PORTABLE ones like the one he bought from the distributor in MB. I think he was particularly looking for one that was portable, IMO.

It's very possible that DM's first interactions with Mr. Paradkar was related to the LB disappearance. It does not sound like he was ever questioned as a suspect, maybe only as a witness, and even then it did not appear to go very far.
However I wouldn't put it past DM to have been prepared beforehand for that knock on the door, so maybe he went to consult a lawyer beforehand. Maybe all the talk about the threshhold for evidence and warrants emboldened DM to go ahead and get the incinerator knowing full well that for the moment he was "safe".

You could see it being used as a lot for a countryhome, the stated purpose, or maybe he wanted for off-roading pursuits: quads, dirt bikes, etc. Apparently, he was also into paintballing. Many uses, both legit and, well, criminal too...
