It wasn't my find, it is Dylansmoms find. I find it even more amazing someone in Colorado put the match together. Kind of made me wonder how we ever survived pre-internet, lol.

Now I'm anxiously awaiting confirmation of the id!

I'm very happy for you, Dylansmom. I really think this is a match and I find it so cool someone so new to WS made the match! Pending confirmation that is.

whoa.. thats a pretty spot on match.. tho it says she had short hair .. couldnt have grown that much in a few months ? wonder how old the photo is.. looks like shes aged abit...

The photo used by Newark PD looks to be a DMV photo so it could be several years old. Plus these days someone can renew their DL by mail so the picture isn't always updated every 4 years. I agree the photo looks to be at least a few years old.

And the mystery Linda in Toronto has been there two months... I wonder if Linda Hegg was missing all that time and not reported missing until this week.

The same article says she was last seen mid to late September so the times match up too. She was just reported missing on Monday by her caregiver.

It looks like it. MSM articles indicate Linda H was last seen in mid to late September by a home health worker. MSM also indicates her family lives in Indiana, so they probably don't see her that often. The dates are a little off, but considering the date last seen came from a home health visitor that could easily be explained by Linda already having been missing at the time she made her September visit.

Wow... I believe this is the same person....

I just came in late on this one. I'm 100% certain that this is the same woman. There are common blemishes (1) between her nose and right-upper lip. (2) at her left jawline. Both are hard to see, but they are there.

Also, the way the alae of her nose wrap around below her nostrils is perfectly identical.

I don't think she would have shared her true first name if she was hoping no one would figure out who she is. I'm very curious how she crossed the border too, and why it took a home health care worker noticing her disappearance just 3 days ago to report her missing.

Hopefully we'll learn more when an official id becomes public.

Okay, so I had also sent the link to the reporter in Newark. She said she will be following-up in the morning and wants to call someone (I guess me) afterward. Maybe there will be some official confirmation before that but otherwise, once I hear from the reporter, I will post.
