Thought there may have been a breakthrough by now, keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah I thought the $50,000 reward they posted a couple of months ago would loosen some lips.

Man, this is still unsolved? :(
It's a local case to me too. Really local, I think my mother used to know her husband years ago. From what I've seen, people are calling for that guys head.

From your link, Trina’s cousin has reason to believe more than one person was involved in her murder.

“Even hearing the word hope, nothing to do with the city, totally triggers me,” she said. “Right now we’re just following police direction while trying to advocate for justice and keep her name out there in the public eye. We know the cowards that did this to Trina are not going to come forward, so we’re relying on witnesses, people who may have heard something in passing. If they’re questioning anything they’ve heard, maybe just call IHIT and run it by them. You never know what will be the final piece of information that IHIT needs to proceed with charges.”

Stephanie Ibbott, one of Hunt's cousins-in-law who is acting as a spokesperson for her family, said she is still hopeful that someone will offer information that would lead to finding Hunt's killer.

"There is a $50,000 reward, and that's a lot of money that can change someone's life," she said. "That information that they have will change our lives."

Homicide investigators said in a statement Tuesday they are still investigating Hunt's murder. However, no updates have been provided since June, when IHIT searched her home, as well as her husband's home in Mission, B.C.

"We understand there is a great deal of interest and our updates have been limited," said Sgt. David Lee. "These investigations take time and we do not want to jeopardize a positive outcome."

It’s been a year now and LE is still waiting for someone to come forward. If they suspect that someone, are they putting resources behind their efforts? Not sure if this has been mentioned before but the vehicles in question were pulled in for forensics would they download the black box data? And with that, could it tell the date, time, mileage, speed etc. for the specific weekend? If the husband said they watched a movie Sat. night but couldn’t remember which one, was it on general cable or streamed as that would have a time stamp to support the alibi or not.
