Krowchuk was last seen leaving his residence in Saskatoon, SK at around 10:00 p.m. on July 9, 1998. He had left a note for his common-law wife that he was going out to eat at a restaurant. He was never seen or heard from again. Krowchuk's vehicle was located five days later on July 14, two blocks from the river in the downtown area of Saskatoon. His whereabouts remain unknown.
