Peel police report that 40-year-old Yunying Pan, who lives in the Hurontario Street and Ceremonial Drive area, has been missing for several days.

She was last heard from on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at approximately 10:53 p.m.
Pan is described as an East Asian female who is 5’5" tall and 123 pounds with a thin build. She has long straight black hair, brown eyes and pierced ears.
Her vehicle, a grey 2017 Lexus NX model SUV with Ontario plate CBLT085, has also been reported missing.

Police and family are concerned for her well-being.

A 14-year-old Brampton boy and at least four other Peel residents remain missing this holiday season, leaving their families worrying and wondering.

Fourteen-year-old Musfiqur Rahman was last seen on Dec. 8, near the Kipling subway station around 5:45 p.m.

He is described as South Asian with a light complexion, five-foot-nine and 170 pounds, with black, two-inch long wavy hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red sweater, dark blue jeans, a white windbreaker and black shoes.

Missing since Dec. 5 is 40-year-old Yunying Pan of Mississauga. She hasn’t been heard from or seen since just before 11 p.m. that night and her SUV, a 2017 grey Lexus NX with Ontario plate CBLT085, is also missing.

Police and her family are concerned for her well-being and want to hear from anyone who has seen her or knows where she is.

She is described as East Asian, five-foot-five and 123 pounds with a thin build. She has long, straight black hair, brown eyes and pierced ears. It is not known what she was wearing when she disappeared.

Yunying Yan, 40, went missing in December and has not been found by police

A Mississauga man, 50, was arrested and charged with killing Pan on Friday. Police have not found her remains.

The man is expected to appear in a Brampton court on Saturday.

Anyone with potentially useful information is asked to contact Peel police investigators or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.

"On Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, 51-year-old Mississauga man Shaofeng Han was arrested and charged with second degree murder.

On Friday, March 29, 2019, human remains were located in a wooded lot in the area of Matheson Boulevard and Kennedy Road."

The 55-year-old Shaofeng Han, accused of killing Yunying Pan, shared the first bits of detail about the final moments of his then 40-year-old female housemate.

''A Mississauga man testified that he hatched a coverup to escape blame for the December 2017 killing of his female housemate — a murder he says he didn’t commit.

Yunying Pan was stuffed into a large travel bag, placed in the trunk of her housemate’s car, where she was kept for hours, before her body was stashed in two locations, then buried, testified Shaofeng Han on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old man, accused of killing Pan, shared the first bits of detail about the final moments of his then 40-year-old female housemate.

Speaking via a Mandarin language interpreter, Han testified Wednesday that he found Pan covered in blood and unconscious on the night of Dec. 5, 2017, on the steps inside the Mississauga townhouse they shared as tenants, but covered it up because he feared that the Canadian judicial system would, in his words, execute him even though he wasn’t responsible for her death.

“I never killed her,” Han said of Pan, who had moved into the home shared by Han and another man, roughly two weeks before her death.''
