''The body of Zackhry Ramnath, 18, was found Sunday morning along a trail near a college campus in King Township, about fifty kilometers north of Toronto. It was a citizen who alerted York Regional Police after making the gruesome discovery while walking his dog.
After an autopsy, the victim from Montreal was finally identified today, the Ontario police force said in a statement.
Investigators from the homicide unit took over the investigation. The cause of death has not been disclosed at this time, but Ontario police say it was a targeted attack on the young man

''Officers with York Regional Police's homicide unit have identified the body of a man found in King Township Sunday morning, and say they are investigating his death as a murder.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police identified the victim as 18-year-old Zackhry Ramnath, from Montreal. Police say they believe his death was a "targeted incident."

Ramnath's body was found on Sunday morning after police received a call from a person who was walking their dog along a trail near Dufferin Street and 15th road, which is near Seneca College's King Campus.

Police say an autopsy was conducted on Monday and his death has been deemed a homicide, but a cause of death was not released.''

''An 18-year-old Montreal man found dead north of Toronto was the victim of a targeted killing, police said Tuesday.''

Someone walking their dog along a trail near a college campus in the Township of King discovered the body on Sunday morning, York Regional Police said in a statement Tuesday.

An autopsy on Monday determined the death was a homicide, the police force said. The cause of death was not released.''

''On Feb. 9 in Valleyfield, he was charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon or causing bodily harm and using an imitation weapon to commit an offence. The alleged offences occurred on Feb. 7.

On the same day, he was charged at the Montreal courthouse with two counts of armed robbery and uttering threats. The armed robberies were alleged to have taken place on Feb. 6. The victims were 15 and 17 years old at the time.

On Feb. 10, Ramnath was charged again at the Montreal courthouse in two more cases alleging he had been in possession of property obtained by crime in December. The stolen property he was in possession of were two cars, including a Honda Civic.''

Seems odd that someone came forward with evidence against Zackhry on the same day he's charged with those crimes. Who brought the charges?
