With 19 other charges, they may have dropped this one charge to spare the child testifying. They can always add it later if needed, but for now it's best to spare the child if possible.

In the forensic psychiatric unit, Josh will certainly get a PTSD diagnosis, but his hyper-religiosity, narcissism, and OCD will gather “unsympathetic” medical record observations which might negatively affect his sentencing. If he tries to convert other patients to Islam, leaves group activities for religious requirements, refuses medication, or refuses therapy because only Allah can cure him, his medical record will show that he resisted treatment and was having religious delusions. When he argues with other patients who aren’t as “brilliant’ as he believes he is, his medical record will show that he has a personality disorder or personality disorder symptoms. If Josh discusses the same creepy topics he posted on Wiki for 62,000 times, his medical record will show that he has sadistic, morbid obsessions.

In Canada, patients can refuse treatment and have it NOT affect a court outcome. IMO

Seeing as he was found fit for trial, I wonder if he has gone in voluntarily (which is what I suspect) or if he has been committed. IMO

Thats why I think he has agreed to go to Brockville, simply for an easier sentence when all is done and dusted. IMO

I read in one article that he wasn't immediately sent to Brockville because the hospital didn't currently have an opening in their locked forensic unit.

If the forensic psychiatrist director does his or her job correctly, all Josh's scary abnormal thoughts and behavior will be documented and the court will read all of it. Josh won't be able to behave "normally" or "fit" on the psychiatric unit because he's been demented for a long time. His demented sadistic obsession and compulsions were occurring years before he became a prisoner in Afghanistan. PTSD, therefore, isn't the cause of all of Josh's abnormal thoughts and actions.

If Josh isn't compliant with treatment, exhibits extreme religiosity or religious preoccupation (which can be viewed by some practitioners as religious delusions), exhibits antisocial behavior with other patients or staff (lack of empathy is a symptom of both Narcissistic Personality Disorder and ASPD), and discusses his sadistic obsessions (remember his jihad and sadistic interests on Wiki), he's provided evidence that he's a danger to others.

If he is discharged while exhibiting symptoms that show he's a danger to others and he then assaults or murders someone (he uttered a death threat), the hospital system and psychiatrist will be sued for tens of millions. The medical center will dramatically lose prestige as Josh is frequently headline news. Accreditation Canada will send dozens of investigators to crawl through every nook of their facility (and they always find other issues threatening withholding government payments) making the hospital administrators' lives a living hell for many months. These horrors will make it too dangerous to discharge Josh until his abnormal thoughts and obsessive behaviors significantly decline because he's compliant with his medication regime and in therapy. He could be locked in the forensic unit for many months, not just two months.

Imo, he's such a grandiose narcissist that he'll try to control his psychiatrist, staff, therapist, and treatment plan. He'll be "just barely compliant' manipulatively trying to stay in control, but not get kicked out for non-compliance and sent back to jail.

Josh’s ridiculous lie that he traveled to Afghanistan because "he was the only person able to help underserved people (in the MOST dangerous area)" qualifies as a messianic delusion. Messianic delusions are frequently seen in schizophrenics. Josh is going to wish he never told that huge lie because he’s going to be prescribed antipsychotic medications at the locked forensic psychiatric unit because he exhibits severe religious preoccupation and has stated his messianic delusion many, many times. :lol:

He'll despise taking antipsychotic medication as he’s a narcissist and has to always be in control and seen favorably by others. It’s hard to be in control and impress others when you can barely keep your eyes open and want to sleep 18 hours/day. He also will hate the side effect of significant weight gain.:dance:

Everyone thought JP was too narcissistic to commit suicide....
but when it came down to losing control of the boys that's exactly what he did.

I think it's pretty much got to be his wife who is the victim. I just don't think he'd have enough access/influence to fit all these charges with anyone else.
I think he did all this and then when she tried to report him, he tried to claim she was crazy, missing and suicidal to cover himself. It didn't work. I hope it doesn't.

Thank you for posting. Pretty much what I expected from CC. I am shocked she even gave the first interview... I wonder what happened to make her cancel the remaining days. I would assume JB caught wind of it and refused to allow her to speak without him present. I can’t get over that she still believes the whole “they put estrogen in my food to cause a forced abortion” narrative. She needs lots and lots of therapy. Hopefully she can heal now that josh is in jail, but I think he’s still pulling the puppet strings from behind bars.

The most interesting part for me was Adam Goldman. Kind of confirms what I’ve believed from the start, despite a lot of push back from some other posters - The FBI thinks Boyle is sketch AF and he was suspicious to American authorities.

I'm sure this has been brought up and I've missed it, but what is her status? Can she work? Is she eligible for benefits?

Otherwise I assume she's living on donations from friends, family, and community members.
