Baez is just doing his job. He knows they have forensic evidence, but doesn't know how specific it is or how potentially damaging it might be in any eventual trial. By floating an outrageous request like this, sure to rouse huge public outcry, he hopes to force LE's hand. He wants them to come out and be completely unambiguous about their stand on whether or not Caylee was in the car and is in fact dead. Now, don't pummel me. I believe she is dead and that LE has that proof. I'm just saying that I think Baez is trying to make LE release info to him prior to when they would be required to do so by discovery.

They don't have to do it, of course. He is gambling that they will not be able to withstand the goading and come out swinging in a fit of anger, having been finally frustrated beyond human endurance. I know it's working with me! I don't think it will work with them, though.

This isn't a "darned if they do or darned if they don't" situation. Casey has not assisted in any way to find Caylee. The A fam has not assisted in any way to find Caylee. What they have done has been to prevent Caylee being found and to protect Casey!

Casey asking to travel has nothing to do with her helping to find Caylee unless it is to lead LE to her body (which we all know is not going to happen!).

im confused too .. part of me sympathizes and part of me doesnt .. im not in thier shoes .. but on the other hand i would be out looking for my grandchild i couldnt see myself defending someone that killed her even if it was my own daughter .however ive never had to live it .its never happened to me so i can only assume what id do or feel at this time .i know what i think they should be doing .but what i think and what they are living through are 2 different things .(and casey brought it on them ) but its up to them to stop it too ... im very torn about that family ..however not casey one bit .. she should fry

So she'll have a bunch of LE people with her, she'll be talking ...she might give a clue...the conversations will be recorded, so we'll probably get another doc dump...and what's it gonna' hurt? If she does take LE to the body, great! If not, it's just MORE evidence against her and the DA can't be accused of "preventing her from helping."

Sure! No problem! Only caveat is that KC first needs to provide full disclosure on the last moments from when she had Caylee in her charge -- that is verifiable and verified. Once there has been verified full disclosure she can search until her heart is content -- in her jail cell. :behindbar

This is just more propaganda, deflection and, distraction to take the focus from her as 'suspect' and onto a global search.

Where is she going to look? If 1,000s of us cannot see Caylee on the street is KC just going to chase false leads from those who want to see a Caylee or want to insert themselves into this? -- only to eventually disappear into the anals of history as another missing mystery.

I think the judge will deny the request and LE can keep what they have to themselves until required by law to share with Baez.

They always say a perp returns to the scene of the crime. Maybe she just wants to check and see if it's been disturbed. I hope TES goes back to the airport area ... I believe this is where Caylee is. CA was so upset when Tim and searchers were in this area. Now with the eyewitness seeing the car there and a girl walking out of the woods they may just hit the jackpot if they go back and re-search the WHOLE area.
Does anyone know how long LE had this info (about the eyewitness)? No, I am not talking about the eyewitness from the un-named site.

I believe the reporter said Sept. 4th., but I could be mistaken (or she could be).
