So she likely only gave her the full name after seeing that piece of paper, but called her 'Zanny' to Cindy before that .. that's what I'm thinking is most likely.

So 'Zanny', but not ZFG by the looks, yes, so I'm thinking she saw the name on the sign in sheet, and started to formulate the kidnap story, and give Zanny the full name from that .. JMO.

This is good question for AZLawyer. I believe if witness tampering is proven, she could be retried so you would think it would be the same for jury tampering.

It's the newest KC article on the OS regarding her refusal to answer questions on her depo.

What Casey and her lawyers IMO are getting at (as we saw in her responses in this deposition) is that CASEY didn't use the name Zanny but only Zenaida and that she is not responsible for any reference made by others that say she called the Nanny Zanny

So,...We would have to find references in Casey's emails, text messages, IM's where she, Casey, reference Zanny or Zenaida...

Did that come out right? or have I confused ya'll...sometimes what's in the mind does not come across well in type .:blushing:

This is the IM exchange between Casey and Anthony Rusciano in May 2008

In it she refers to her as Zani (Casey types that)

Anthony R is asking her where the nanny is
Casey replies "I'm playing phone tag with both Zani & my mom"

I remember that interview with RG, and personally I never believed much out of his mouth. IMO, he was another person who seemed a bit too eager to be a part of the investigation, and made the rounds on TV and the papers. Its bizarre to me that RG, or anyone, could remember in September 2008 a conversation he had with OCA in April 2006 - almost word for word. Recalling the exact names of people (that he has never met) and their back story?

I think much of what any Anthony said was for public consumption, and then it was repeated so many times it became fact for some.

The Model Unit at Sawgrass was Apt #212 which was directly below "the Nanny's" apt #210 and Dante's Apt was close by as well.

I still am trying to connect the dots or find proof that Casey got her hands on this card.

I remember listening to the interview during the trial when the Defense was saying she was being mistreated by the big old Police guys...yada yada..and then the Prosecution pulls this out....Casey KNEW this interview was being taped.

Yuri asks the name of the babysitter and Casey says Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez who lives at Sawgrass Apartments Unit 210

She tells Yuri that she has known Zenaida for almost 4 years ago this Christmas and she met her through a mutual friend names Jeffrey Michael Hopkins. (4 years would be 2004 folks and not the 2006 and met via Jesse she states in this depo.....Casey and her EXTRA names)

Zenaida was his sons nanny at the time and she decided to watch both kids at Jeffrey's house .(how generous of Jeffrey Michael, BTW she couldn't find a phone number for him even though she told Yuri she spoke to him about a week earlier)

Zenaida bday is in September, she is mixed, part Puerto Rican part Black and hails from NY but has family down south, umm Miami area. She came south to attend the University of Florida (GO GATORS!)

Later on she says she met Zenaida just before she got pregnant with Caylee. (ummm so that would be when again?)

Her friend Lauren Gibbs was watching Caylee until April 2006 then Zenaida began to watch Caylee.
(Well some TRUTH here..Lauren did watch Caylee until she found out Casey was LYING about going to work)

She began to take Caylee to Zenaida's apartment in 2006/2007 (WHAT a Coincidence..that's the time Annie was living at Sawgrass with Dante!!!! Imagine that)

BUT Wait!.....Before Zenaida moved to Sawgrass she was living off Glenwood
(Wow another coincidence!..that just happens to be where Ricardo and Amy were living in an apartment belonging to JP Chatt)

Zenaida's mothers name is Gloria, Casey called her the day Caylee went missing, she also called Juliette Lewis (former Universal co-worker) but darn it she doesn't have their phone numbers any longer.

And those darn cellphone companies...all these people had changed cellphone carriers so many times which meant they had to change cellphone numbers...how is a girl supposed to keep track of her babysitter and her other made up people!!!!

I don't know where this "baby sitter" stuff came from except for Mitnick using it during the depo.
Here's the thing for me...Everyone and their dog has used the word "Nanny" including FCA all these years which in my opinion gave FCA the outward appearance of being a Mrs Gotrocks cuz she was trying to flaunt herself as having money and the only people I've ever heard of having a Nanny has had the funds to pay their Nanny. So now all of a sudden everyone is using the words "baby sitter" which to me is a nice young lady who lives down the street and sit's for you during an evening out with your husband, who gets payed that night before she returns home.
Am I the only one this bothers?

I'm not sure pro bono is the term I'd use. They aren't charging her, but it's an investment to ensure they can keep working in the future. JMO

Yuri referred to her as 'the baby sitter' in this taped interview on July 16th 2008 but then the name Zanny the Nanny was coined and off it went...

I agree..she used the 'term' nanny to aggrandize herself to her friends who really were going to school and working while she did nothing to get an education or look for gainful employment.

Baby sitter, care giver, day care provider, Nanny...many names..heck I'm surprised she didn't say my family hired an au pair for Caylee.

Someone once said she's a stupid sociopath . Most can at least fake normal emotions. She couldn't even see it I abnormal to be chipper while your daughter is missing or think your mom should not plead for her

I'm thinking if she answers these questions truthfully she will lose this case for sure so she is hiding behind the fifth. I do think the judge will make her answer the questions because statutes have just about run out on anything she might reveal. I'm not sure what the time limit is on improper disposal of a body, or anything else that might come out. Is Kronk's case against her still active? jmo

She is allowed to plea the 5th if she chooses, even in civil court, as others have pointed out. And a judge is allowed to not take kindly to her pleas, as long as the questions being asked of her relate directly to the civil charges against her.

IMO, her taking the 5th has nothing to do with Kronk's civil defamation case. There weren't any questions in the depo that she refused to answer that had anything to do with Kronk's case.

I think she refused to questions that weren't specifically related to Gonzales because she didn't want to and didn't think she had to. This was just a deposition. My guess is CM and crew are convinced neither defamation case will ever be brought to court, so their strategy is to cooperate just enough to not alienate Judge Roy, but not one question further.

What she says now in the Civil lawsuit depo is said in order to distance herself away from the civil claim ZG has brought forth...:twocents:

I believe her lawyers have taught her and rehearsed with her what she would say under oath at the deposition..things like she never said this or that.. I can't control what my mother says, I did not ask her to do or say__________

Saying she was angry just reinforces her claim that she had no control on what others said or did while she was in jail...I believe she will continue to play that card in order to try and beat this lawsuit...

Get the trial underway and get her on the stand...should be interesting...I bet Mason will be sitting on pins and needles and try to interject the moment she opens her mouth and says 1 word that may start a phrase that will expose something....That's IF they get to trial..I think they will do whatever it takes for her NOT to have to take the stand...
