I was telling others to lighten up. I thought the synopsis was funny too but the poster was catching flack for posting it.

Hi Mnkeyznes! I wasn't referring to you at all! I wanted others to see your post becuase I was agreeing with it. Some people need to go homeand kiss their kids and if they don't have kids, kiss their pets...and if they don't have pets, kiss their neighbors kids and pets. :blowkiss:

Seriously though, everyone needs to take a deep breath and as you said, lighten up.

Not goin anywheres near Cindy as long as that witch has a hammer! No Way, No how!

I would have went in the house with her. Anyone else?

  • #224
Did you read where it stated she could not have contact with children?

Don't know the answer, but if they don't revoke, she will be out soon, because her family can probably afford the new bond amounts.....However LP may not offer his guards this time, and she would be safer in then out.:behindbar

Great questions...does anyone know about the checks? Were they written for cash? Or, were they wriiten to stores? Hummm, I am guessing for cash, but haven't heard anything one way or the other.

I think it was 2 at stores and 1 for cash. There is apparently video of her at 2 stores writing the checks.

You have a link to this Baker Act? Usually someone in Florida that is "Baker Acted" is deemed as a threat to themselves or others. I don't think Casey has a Baker Act against her.

They are operating under the theory that she is responsible for her daughters death... and I personally think that is an excellent theory so that would be very threatening to me if she were having contact with one of my grandchildren.

Yes, if you go to www.myorangeclerk.com and search for her as the criminal case litigant, you will see all of the info and all of the filings (summarized). One states that she falls under the Baker Act and is to have no contact with minors under 17. It's there.

Wonder if she still likes being a "celebrity"?

She was screened for Baker Act criteria - doesn't mean she was being held under a Baker Act - that is for sucidial, dangerous people - mean a threat to themselves or others. I think she passed on that one -

BUT - it certainly does state that while in custody she is to have no unsupervised contact with any child under 17. This is proof that she did, indeed, violate her terms!!! Wow - wonder what they'll do with this.

Symptoms
Common characteristics of people with antisocial personality disorder include:

Persistent lying or stealing
Recurring difficulties with the law
Tendency to violate the rights of others (property, physical, sexual, emotional, legal)
Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights
Inability to keep a job
A persistent agitated or depressed feeling (dysphoria)
Inability to tolerate boredom
Disregard for the safety of self or others
A childhood diagnosis of conduct disorders
Lack of remorse for hurting others
Possessing a superficial charm or wit
Impulsiveness
A sense of extreme entitlement
Inability to make or keep friends

(EDITED to shorten)

This sounds like it was written for Casey. I can see almost 99% of her traits in this list from all we've heard and learned about her.

Hey, I have a question. Had did she use those checks at Target and WinDixie from Amy without ID to match.
I say Bond will end up at 12,500.00 Post 10%

I don't know about FL but I've lived in several other states, and I've not had to show ID when I wrote a check at places like Target. (Which took a while to get used to b/c the state I grew up in required not just a DL but a Check Guarantee Card).

So WS Floridians, what ID is required to cash a check?

  • #233
I might have missed this somewhere but did they ever say what she purchased or if she wrote the checks for cash? Also she stole checks or cc's from her mom and grandparents, correct? what did she buy on this spending spree?

  • #234
Just my opinion, but JP and TP will revoke her bond, this is their way outta dodge so to speak

Should be interesting to see how this all plays out. I have a feeling dear Casey ain't goin nowhere no time soon.

I dont know if this means she can not be around under 17 or no communication at all because she was supervised by whoever was in the home Does that make sense what im trying to say?

Read last line. She broke the conditions of her bond by befriending this 12-yr. old she's been emailing or was only while in custody? Do we know what the conditions of the bond were?

For the first time since early on in this case, I did feel sorry for Cindy and am surprised by my reaction to this video. She should have gone immediately back to the house and not tangled verbally with such people.

Me too! While I have gone back and forth with that, there was something about the look in her eyes-kind of defeat IMO. And she actually ask that woman to come sit down and talk to her! It just hit me that she really does need someone to talk to her, it doesn't seem as though she has any friends or else that would have been questioned IWI. Anyhoo, probably an unpopular opinion, but we all have our own. I have no doubt the Cindy loved Caylee with all her heart. Such a tragic situation....Caylee deserved so much better.

Casey is being held on a no bond hold. She appears before a judge tomorrow who will most likely to readdress the bond issue.

It's not a good thing to be charged with a crime while on bond for another one.

Depends - I don't use 'em anymore at the stores. Some stores required ID out the ying-yang - while others just swipe the check and that's it - never ask for any ID.
