Ok what happens if she did throw caylee in a dumpster since her car was so close to it?
And did amy see caylee with casey when she picked her up from the airport?

If Caylee was placed in a dumpster, over 75 days ago, and with all the trash sent to the landfill over all these days, chances of finding her are very slim. Not impossible BUT very slim.

No Amy did not see Caylee when Casey picked her up at the airport. All this info is in the 400 page documents.

I really don't care if his record is good or not. He seems to be spinning this case via Casey and is going to go down in a blazing pile here. He has won some small battles, but he is not going to win the war.

I would be delighted if Leonard gets the $50,000.00 back! However, he is still out the grand a day it has taken to "protect" his investment along with the other expenses. I was curious when I heard Greta tell him to go get back his money. Hope she was right, but then doesn't it mean Tony loses all the way around?! Guess we will have to wait on him to come and explain it all.

YES! Casey is going nowhere for now except the cell where she truly belongs. Guess the weekend BBQ is off and her plans to sit n chat on the internet are abandoned. Isolation and video conferences are again her world instead. YIPPEE!!!

I can't imagine LE using a 12 year old child as a plant!

I read a story somewhere last night where the grandmother of the 12yo said that she (or maybe they) didn't put a stop to the relationship out of the hope that something would slip... but don't quote me on that... I don't remember where I read it.

We are trying to stay TOTALLY away from any dialog regarding this 12 year old child, her parents or grandparents.

I lived in Effort for 20 years and worked at Delaware Water Gap for 10 years at Heico Chemical Company. Small world!

I just got to the part where Baez says,"You are assuming she's not talking and you're also assuming she doesn't know where Caylee is."

If she is in fact talking, and she does in fact know where Caylee is, why are we still looking for Caylee? Do these people listen to what comes out of their own mouths?

Anyway, I have a question, as I have been out of the loop since yesterday afternoon.
Did Casey get her bond revoked, or was she re-arrested for theft? I've seen both in skimming, so a little confused.
Thanks,
Lanie

I could be wrong, but seems to me that if his client knows where Caylee is, and that she is alive... Caylee has a constitutional right to be found! So this tells me that his client knows that Caylee is dead, knows where she is, and is STILL not talking to protect her own butt!!! Un-freakin'-believable!!!

I just googled Jose Baez and his outcome on his clients lare found guilty! Does anyone no any High profile cases he has actually won?

The failure or success of an attorney isn't measured by how cases were "won" or "lost" To use this case as an example, if Casey is ultimately sentenced to less than 10 years in prison, I would say that her defense attorney has done a good job, even though the defendant technically "lost", i.e. - was found guilty of something.

And by the way, the chances of Casey doing less than 10 years in prison are not as remote as many would think: LE doesn't have one single shred of evidence that Casey was criminally responsible for Caylee's death. And the DNA likely won't provide LE with a cause of death no matter what else it might tend to prove.

What the evidence proves (so far) is that Caylee is dead, that Caylee died while under the general care and supervision of her mother Casey, and that based on all of the witness statements gathered, that Casey likely concealed Caylee's body somewhere. But there's no cause of death in any of the evidence.

Really. Not a good PR move and could you imagine the lawsuits they would open themselves up to.

Re: the "cameo" comment from Casey to Cindy on the jail call

Anyone else immediately detect almost *pleasure* in Cindy's voice when she replied, "Which one?" The first time I heard the call I detected extreme anger, sarcasm and manipulation from Casey and I detected a weird "pleased with herself" attitude from Cindy when she said, "Which one? I've done four today". Cindy is also placating, wheedling, and a bit smug. There was a bit of finger pointing going on in that call!
ITA! That is EXACTLY what I heard...

K, sorry.

The arrest warrant says Casey "uttered the forged instrument" (forged Amy's check?) on July 8th. That's a few days before she borrowed Amy's car, isn't it?
No, that coincides with the day Amy left, IIRC. July 8-15th.

Yes, Not, he was puzzled. And he seemed so sad because of it. Without saying it, he was saying that the family is the strangest he has dealt with.

Tims interview was interesting. He did seem very puzzled over the behavior of the family? He did say Casey was on her computer and did not interact with him to much. But to be honest- Casey has put herself in a no win situation. What else is she suppose to be doing. She can't talk to anyone, can't go out and search.

If I was Tim, any information the family provided for a possible search location- I would not even give it any thought-the last thing this family wants is the body found.

Was it ever established and fixed that it was members from HERE that got Tim to come and search, or is it still being said that it was all Cindy that did it?

Great post, Nancy. And you are one of my fave sleuthers!

Tim was disgusted that Casey didn't even pretend to be interested in the search for Caylee!! She is a strange one...

TY! Did it state caylee was in amys car at all? Did it state the last time amy saw caylee? TY

My sentiments exactly!
